This was a player of a friend of mine and we had good laughs while the tournament was going on. SC2Manager had a bug in which players would play their tournament games multiple times. Its fixed now, but a result that player played his match against same opponent 5 times every round. Totaling like 100 ELO gain per tournament round. If look at the match history you see he played same opponent multiple times. His ELO will plummet in higher leagues thou since the player is not really that good yet.

Ppl randomly spamming 'bid $10' on all the new players is not really interesting :-

I get that they don't want to take donations until they are satisfied with what they have put out. But if you're going to do that, at least be willing to take a hit and pay for server upgrades yourself. At some point you'll get that money returned (with donations/ad revenue etc.)... This is a game of seconds and the constant gateway errors ruin it..

One you hit lvl 1, you break your existing sponsorship contract and get a new one with higher paying sponsors (redtube is both an angel and demon as a sponsor: $200 a day and tournies bonuses, but -2hrs practice each day). Then you can afford whatever. I rarely place well in tournies, but I am swimming in cash with 6 players. Also, as a side note: This lost ELO for tournies thing is killing me. I won a bo3 round of tournament 2:1... my gain for ELO for that round was -3. How do I lose ELO by winning, wtf? THe one game I lost cost me more than the 2 I won... kinda broken IMO.
