However, i can understand. playing with lag is tough and especially changing your sleep schedule for a couple of months just for a league in a different country. I don't think that mattered one bit to the Koreans... Considering they all signed the contract and said they would do it. this is not them pulling out because its too hard for them, it is them pulling out because they got greedy.

The Koreans are going to have to learn that this is the price of competition in the foreign tourneys. In the long run, this decision leads to more parity.

Any financial satisfaction they could possibly get wouldn't be worth the massive negative impact of such a decision. NASL should buckle up and fix some of the issues last season had if they have long term plans to stay in SC2. They should also consider reducing prize money by 30-50% per season.

It is the north american star league after all, and personally I would almost like to see it as only north american players, or all foreign players. To be perfectly honest I'm getting kind of sick just watching koreans absolutely destroy foreigners. Its getting to the point in most tournaments where it's not worth my time to watch before the top 8 because It's just blow-outs. Then in the top 8 its just koreans v koreans. I already have the gsl for that. When koreans started playing in more tournaments such as the nasl, or the exchange with mlg I was pumped. But now its starting to become lame and I kind of want the older more exciting matches back. Then encourage foreigners to better. The solution isn't to bring the tournament down to the foreigner's inferior level.

Obviously NASL doesnt want to lose the Koreans so they would have figured out the cost for reasonable travel to and from Korea and then offered them something around there.
