koreans maintain my interest in eSports.
NASL will be boring next season. Dont gonna watch it. Waste of times.
Dont wanna watch the fight of the ants.
Foreigner scene is lame.

I'm not a mod, but for future reference, you really shouldn't revive a dead thread with your first post. And the negativity doesn't help.

Reading the main post on page 1 would help in any thread.

Basically, there were some conflicts of interest between NASL & korean teams dealing with the finals, if the korean players were able to make it to the states and have their hotel/transportation costs covered. NASL said no, only a part of the costs will be covered. So then Korean teams left

I super psyched for NASL starting tomorrow, but I am bummed that most Koreans are not playing. I am still hopeful that some will compete in the open tournament. (Is there one this time?)

Also, as a Protoss player, Hero is about the best Toss in the world right now so I am glad he is playing!

Sucks that they're not going out there, at first I was like damn this sucks now, but then they announced the invites 1 by 1 and it looks awesome. Can't wait to check out the games.

Frankly this increases my interest. I like watching koreans play because they are so good, but because we see so little of them its really hard to find anyone to cheer for, once you hit the semifinals and its all koreans it starts to get dull. They already dominate MLG and i get to see them there, so I think it will be nice to give some hometown heroes a chance to make some real money.

Thats just my opinion though

But them winning everything actually helps foreigners. Even when most said they're "practicing very hard" they weren't. As could be seen by every MLG except the last. Koreans fucking ROFL stomped the tournament. This past MLG had a massive improvement for foreigners which means they're now getting up off their asses and getting shit done. Still won't mean much until we have a solid 30-40 pros, but let's face it the Koreans really don't have a SOLID 30-40 yet either. You can argue that X Korean has done very well at the past 3 MLG events, but X Korean is OWNED by Y Korean, unfortunately when the dust finally settles it won't matter the next game will be coming out.

I dont see why everyone gerts so sad about this. As Fenix said the foreign players will now have a chance(100%) of winning.
