Regardless of what happened, it doesn't look classy for them to air their grievance in this manner. But the organization has kinda made iffy decisions since day 1, and you can tell their professionalism by the quality of their work. No doubt, it was a huge task to co-ordinate events suchs as their first tournament and I'm sure their support staff put in the hours, but can anyone say that it was well-organized, well planned or even well executed? They aren't whining or airing their grievance, they're informing fans why Koreans won't participate in season2 despite their best efforts to make them. Imo, NASL will probably lose more on this than the Koreans but for all I care the Koreans are not needed.

All they had to say was 'unfortunately it didn't work out and the Koreans will not be participating.' But they chose not to.

And can you actually tell me that this community would accept such a bland non answer? They would want to know why they weren't playing. Especially the ones who already paid for a season pass.

Especially the ones who already paid for a season pass. It could have been worded better than that surely. The problem with how they have handled this on their side, is that they aren't leaving the door open for the koreans to return in future seasons. Placating the community now, at the expense of destroying any semblance of a professional relationship with the koreans, is only going to hurt NASL in the long run.

Yes they could have worded it better, I agree 100%, especially since a lot this drama has resulted from miscommunication on both ends. But for the people saying its all on NASL, remember the Koreans did sign contracts for season 2 after qualifying and then backed out of them. So they aren't blameless in this whole thing.

I wasn't aware that they even planned to replace that many players on such short notice, I just assumed we were going to see a shorter, truncated season with less players.
