unfortunate but understandable
Then they should use one of the many other ways it's possible to block account sharing other than blocking the other stream. If this is going to be "fixed" for the future, why suddenly dump it on everyone who purchased a pass the day the tournament started?
One of the best things about the MLG HD pass is being able to watch 2 games at once with 2 teams of casters going. It was great last time and I was really looking forward to it.

No, because there are a thousand ways to prevent account sharing and let the customer use their product.
The problem is that some people like me spent 30 dollars on a year of MLG membership for what they have done and now I can't even watch both starcraft streams at once? Seems a little ridiculous.

You can have 2 streams HQ+LQ or LQ+LQ if you dident buy.

But will the low-quality one keep interrupting you with goat commercials (or gum or whatever) while you try to enjoy the other one? And why should this be necessary. I'm tired of everyone being so lenient on tournaments. This is not some rookie 100$ KOTH online by a passionate community member, this is done by a large corporation with significant funding. Newbie mistakes like these really should not happen at this scale. BNet problems, weather affecting Internet, etc. are mistakes that are hard and possibly impossible to deal with adequately, but the issues presented to us now are the type you might ask a 2nd year CS undergraduate student to solve as a minor project in a web development class.

30 dollars, for a year. This will NOT ruin your experience, it will just detract a bit from this MLG. You have 5 more MLG's after this one for those 30 dollars.
I agree it's bad/stupid but a lot of people are just overreacting.

it's not about being lenient, it's about unneeded raging. You are dissapointed, you complain, it's understandable. Just don't rage like it's the end of the world. This is bad, don't buy their other products if you think it's really bad.

I understand why people are frustrated but its necessary for them to stop people from simply using a script search addon like Firebug to just find the stream source and open it with VLC.

Please, don't. Yes, people complain a lot about stuff that doesn't matter, but this is obviously something that shouldn't be the case.
Why cant people just simply sit back and enjoy the event?
will. but what is wrong at expressing frustration at something that shouldn't happen. i paid for hq + no ads. i dont want to have to watch ads on one stream because of this.
tbh, mlg has been really good in the past with compensating for issues like this (see dallas fiasco), i would be surprised if you bought a second pass for 10 bucks or whatever it is to get around this that they didn't tack on extra months to your membership if you tell them that's why you bought the second one

I'm tired of every SC2 tournament issuing apologies for oversights they should have thought of before the date and promising to fix things in the future. If they are bumps in the road as the broadcast scene fixes it, fine, but how does no one think of this?
I think MLG does the best job, but they should just do what they did in Ohio (letting everyone have access when they messed something up) and just let us access 2 streams here, integrating the "fix" for the next tournament.
Lol, no they shouldn't. The amount of free shit that people expect is outrageous. Really, its not even that large of a problem, I think the reason why its like this is because people that bought dallas HQ passes still have a voucher code for anaheim. In the future they will probably make it IP or account based, but for now deal with it, its not some huge issue. Honestly even if you have both streams open, your only avidly paying attention to one of them. Just choose your favourite match and put that one on HQ. There is absolutely no reason for them to make the HQ free and the only reason people want it is because they have some stupid sense that MLG owes you something. Also, to the people complaining about european times, its an NA tournament.
