Once upon a time, a young tgun appeared.

Long story short, seeds were planted, now tgun is a beautiful sunflower. Or something along those lines.

And now, a new seed has been planted.

FXO is proud to announce that Julian "Timber" Ho, a terran player, has been added to the FXO training team to develop as a player and hopefully become a Malaysian powerhouse.

He is the first South East Asian to be added to the FXO lineup and will train together with the FXO team in Malaysia.

Julian now spends his days in the FXO office playing Starcraft 2 in the hope of improving his abilities.

We welcome Julian and hope that his dedication and determination helps him to excel in the Starcraft 2 community.

Peace out yo!

Never heard of him. All Boss needed to say was that he had been recruited for his looks AND his skills. But he didn't.

My displayed google ad is for a plants and extracts company. I think your analogy is definitely effective in a marketing sense.

Always interesting to see FXO grow, especially in a non-NA/Europe/or KR way (actually are there any EU players on FXO?) Maybe we'll see some of the Chinese players float to FXO next huh?

Nope, no EU players.

Best of luck to you Timber! I'll be barracking for you now!

EDIT: Good to see some of the locals be given some good gaming infrastructure.

Isn't IMBA a part of FXO? I was sure Strelok and Lowely had connections to FXO.

OK, so imba is supported by FXO but not a part of the team, then?

So many connections going around

I like how at least FXO tries to develope talents/players with potential and put them into training. Too bad they are like the only team that does that except KR based teams.

GL to FXO and Timber.

FXO is again showing why they are the most noble SC2 team out there today. I really like their mentality and the amount of effort, money and time that they are putting into the SC scene in general, emerging talent and especially the SEA region.

He plays Terran and I though I haven't seen him recently based on what I saw a while ago I would call him a macro player who likes his drops and harass n_n

You can probably see him in ESL Go4SC2 SEA tournaments, SC2SEA.com Community Open tournaments, and the (Wiki)SEA Nation Wars 2 where his games for Malaysia playing against China's CCM.xiaOt. The game will be broadcast at Saturday, Jul 30 11:00am GMT (GMT+00:00) on http://www.justin.tv/benjisc2.

I think iceiceice got cut because he had to do his SG compulsory service. FXO is looking for people to work full time and go places and it's really hard when your government takes a massive dump on you. This sucks because iceiceice is a tremendous fucking pain to play against.

Just speculation though.

aha tgun then i hope you'll be flipping some god dam tables at MLG.
Of course you'll be flipping them because of the adrenaline that comes after hard-earned wins, not the on that comes after silly losses.

This is one of the aspects of FXO that I like the best. They are investing in the development of new players for the future rather than buying up existing talent (like certain player poaching NA teams...) I think we need more teams with this sort of mindset.

Its good to see that FXO is taking in lesser known players too. After all Barcelona are a much better team than Man City.

And Boss, I have the potential to grow into a plant maybe a nettle or something. It'll just take love, care and several thousand tonnes of fertiliser (hours of 1 on 1 training with sC, Gumiho and John Lennon Toto Destoyer).

I love that FXO is developing B team players as well as signing top notch big named A team players. This is looking more like the way a Korean team develops and trains talent. Foreigner teams have needed this for a long time.

Kudos.

As someone who plays both servers, top 20 on SEA is "probably" around top 100 on NA. Just the 3 people I've checked. Ngenmaster high GM on SEA --> top 70 on NA (ngensoft). Ngenjazbas high GM on SEA --> top 70-ish on NA. Exoenderr top 100 on SEA --> top 250 on NA.

I told Tgun I'd Photoshop him at a Sunflower if he doesn't make it to Pool play @ MLG Anaheim.

His path to that position looks to go through KawaiiRice, Ganzi, and White-Ra or Major. So, it's very possible for him to do it.

Or he's going to be the Sunflower Zerg for a very long time to come.

Go Tgun!

goodluck man! Hoping you represent the SEA server well! FXOTimber Fighting!!!
I don't think I've ever wished my opponent good luck prior to a game. When I play, I play to win. I hope every opponent I ever have is cursed with fucking terrible luck. I hope they're stuck playing underneath a stepladder with a black cat in attendance a
