Once upon a time, a young tgun appeared.
Long story short, seeds were planted, now tgun is a beautiful sunflower. Or something along those lines.
And now, a new seed has been planted.
FXO is proud to announce that Julian "Timber" Ho, a terran player, has been added to the FXO training team to develop as a player and hopefully become a Malaysian powerhouse.
He is the first South East Asian to be added to the FXO lineup and will train together with the FXO team in Malaysia.
Julian now spends his days in the FXO office playing Starcraft 2 in the hope of improving his abilities.
We welcome Julian and hope that his dedication and determination helps him to excel in the Starcraft 2 community.
Peace out yo!

Awesome! Nice to see some unknown talent being put into teams. Gratz to Timber and FXOpen.
haha, loved the little introduction
best of luck to Timber!!!!
Never heard of him. All Boss needed to say was that he had been recruited for his looks AND his skills. But he didn't.
Hey Boss, If ur looking for more seeds to plant I'm allways available <3

I really like the way FXO is approaching the whole matter of training players.
Ps: Boss, i might not be a sunflower but i am a beautiful carrot.

All the best to Timber and FXO.
Jesus its like the rugrats! Sprouts running all over the place! Glhf to him =D
Timber is very very good. Good pick up fxo.

My displayed google ad is for a plants and extracts company. I think your analogy is definitely effective in a marketing sense.
Always interesting to see FXO grow, especially in a non-NA/Europe/or KR way (actually are there any EU players on FXO?) Maybe we'll see some of the Chinese players float to FXO next huh?

Nope, no EU players.
Best of luck to you Timber! I'll be barracking for you now!
EDIT: Good to see some of the locals be given some good gaming infrastructure.

Poor tgun
Always copping flak from the boss :p
Lucky guy, I'd love to get into a team to practice...
Any more info about him? Like league and cups records?
No way is that flak. Hes a beautiful sunflower now..
Really great to see FXO taking a big grassroots role in the community. Best of luck to you guys in these endeavours!

It's always nice to see budding talents recruited for the future. Good luck to both parties and don't forget to make him sign a contract

Wet carrots ?? I have never heard of that one before.

Isn't IMBA a part of FXO? I was sure Strelok and Lowely had connections to FXO.
On topic: What a lucky guy! Best of luck to all parties.

FXOBoss is such a boss, he could plant his seed anytime or ermmm.. *cough* nvm <3

OK, so imba is supported by FXO but not a part of the team, then?
So many connections going around

hmm i thought that iceiceice or some singaporean was in FXO at some point?
If their flowers is QXC a garden? Did you recruit him due to the MLG relay race? Something tells me this guy is fast.
I like how at least FXO tries to develope talents/players with potential and put them into training. Too bad they are like the only team that does that except KR based teams.
GL to FXO and Timber.

is that the same iceiceice from dota? o_O
FXO is again showing why they are the most noble SC2 team out there today. I really like their mentality and the amount of effort, money and time that they are putting into the SC scene in general, emerging talent and especially the SEA region.
I hope he appears in a page of The Star soon.
"Young Malaysian Reaching for the Stars... in Korea."
Another great move by FXO, best of luck to both them and Timber!

Leave it, adds to the cringe-worthy pus that are possible in this thread. People have already talked about the growth of FXO...
Nice! Glad to see malaysian gamer~ Timber Hwaiting!
Nice, hope Timber grows up to be a big tree ;]
I live how you invest in relatively unknown players and give them training, I really hope that you can turn one of them into a sc2 superstar .
Nice move by FXO this team still continues to impress with these kind of moves.
GL Timber, but I would like some more information, like playstyle, or tournaments where I can see his play.=(
A great news! Timber is definitely improving at a rapid rate. He has improved so much since the release of the game! I'm sure hes got the talent to succeed and wish him the very best in his StarCraft career

Whats going on with you? I know you were the manager for Fnatic and Duskbin, hows that going?

You can probably see him in ESL Go4SC2 SEA tournaments, SC2SEA.com Community Open tournaments, and the SEA Nation Wars 2 where his games for Malaysia playing against China's CCM.xiaOt. The game will be broadcast at Saturday, Jul 30 11:00am GMT (GMT+00:00) on http://www.justin.tv/benjisc2.

I think iceiceice got cut because he had to do his SG compulsory service. FXO is looking for people to work full time and go places and it's really hard when your government takes a massive dump on you. This sucks because iceiceice is a tremendous fucking pain to play against.
Just speculation though.
Oh man, I can hear the puns now.
I'm less a sunflower, and more a table-flipping truck, but I approve of this post nevertheless~
Timber hwaiting!
aha tgun then i hope you'll be flipping some god dam tables at MLG. Of course you'll be flipping them because of the adrenaline that comes after hard-earned wins, not the on that comes after silly losses.
I wish Timber the best in his training under FXO, this is going to be huge for both Malaysia and the FXO team.
this is awesome! met timber IRL and he is a great guy, took us around in his car. he also is the leader of clan pro, and team malaysia in the nation wars going on now!
all the best julian!
Good luck to the new recruit, I hope he grows to be a good terran player in the future. Love FXO.
This is one of the aspects of FXO that I like the best. They are investing in the development of new players for the future rather than buying up existing talent (like certain player poaching NA teams...) I think we need more teams with this sort of mindset.
Someone from the pRo team. Awesome. pRo's leader Timber fighting!

So he's a beautiful, transvestite sunflower. What have you guys done to Tgun while he's been in Korea?
Its good to see that FXO is taking in lesser known players too. After all Barcelona are a much better team than Man City.
And Boss, I have the potential to grow into a plant maybe a nettle or something. It'll just take love, care and several thousand tonnes of fertiliser (hours of 1 on 1 training with sC, Gumiho and John Lennon Toto Destoyer).
Good luck Timber uRvCoveTous@@

Love FXO's attitude and approach to SC2. Much respect dudes.
FXO FIGHTING!
i thought you guys snagged iceiceice? he left?
Saw this coming! FXO is now my favorite team.
I love that FXO is developing B team players as well as signing top notch big named A team players. This is looking more like the way a Korean team develops and trains talent. Foreigner teams have needed this for a long time.
Kudos.
Gratz Timber,
Cobo or Renson not coming along?
so what were some of his past achievements? at least give some info

According to sc2ranks, he was ranked 19th Grandmaster in SEA in season 2.
I wonder what ethnicity he is specifically
tgun such a baller man, I seen him on stream. So well mannered, such a nice guy! Anyway, best of luck to lil' timber. Maybe you will be a beautiful sunflower once, too, like the great tgun.
glad to see FXO doing so many awesome things.. /props!
hello,
ty boss for making my dream a reality, and ty all for ur support. I am embarrassed to say that i'm not good at sc2 now and have no achievement yet. and i am always nervous and choke in tournaments...but i will do my best and train extra hard to change all that and make my country proud
thank you all again
Ryusei-R1: i am chinese
timber's a great terran from the SEA server. What about cobo and ash?
As someone who plays both servers, top 20 on SEA is "probably" around top 100 on NA. Just the 3 people I've checked. Ngenmaster high GM on SEA --> top 70 on NA (ngensoft). Ngenjazbas high GM on SEA --> top 70-ish on NA. Exoenderr top 100 on SEA --> top 250 on NA.
tgun is indeed a beautiful flower

Beautiful story about tgun ;_; Best of luck to Justin!
I told Tgun I'd Photoshop him at a Sunflower if he doesn't make it to Pool play @ MLG Anaheim.
His path to that position looks to go through KawaiiRice, Ganzi, and White-Ra or Major. So, it's very possible for him to do it.
Or he's going to be the Sunflower Zerg for a very long time to come.
Go Tgun!
the first to hold the Malaysia flag! all the best protimber!

Welcome ;D! What's his current rank like right now?
