preety much same thing here, i need to play a lot of games on these new maps to see where they stand. Never judge a book by its cover. (although i would much rather play GSL maps)

i really not get meta remove all other moves are nice expect megaton in 4n4 who was an EPIC map for EPIC funny games

The maps are actually pretty amazing. I'm having more success with my TvP Mech play. The only issue I'm finding is that Hellion drops are more difficult because additional bases are very snug. But that's ok. Blue Hellions are imba anyhow.

Well i just can talk for myself. Ive played the new maps plenty of times on the PTR already.
I would never complain out of nothing.

Maybe TL whining is more valuable that battle.net whining, but again, doesn't matter. Hah, the whining and shit of TL is the best of the best from the official forums :p Truly the cream of the crap :p I must say, that I really like the set-up of where the third is for Antiga Shipyard, if only it didn't butt-up against the other main. The wide open area between it and the natural forms an interesting spot, and I think that positioning in that area will be pivotal in how games play out.
Yea, that rotational symmetry imbalance makes me feel a bit awkward. Though I'm not entirely convinced what player suffers more from the positioning. While I would think the played trying to take the 3rd is at a disadvantage (the other player has a "free" third), if your third is butting up next to the main of your enemy, you have the option of easily harassing their main (I tried to blink across the chasm, and while possible, I could only get a couple stalkers across at a time).
TL;DR Time will tell.

And this is the maps the pros will qualify for blizzcon on, dear god.

Why would you ever remove Metalopolis?
I am so sad.

did fucking one complain about metalopolis or predictable far spawns?

I think the terrans who would autolose 90 % of the games on ladder would complain

i liked metalopolis and its fun-ness
|
So last season they loved Metalopolis soooo much they just had to make an entire map just like it except shitty and with rocks. Now they remove both?
At least they also removed scrap station and dq, but Metalopolis is hands down the best sc2 map ever made and it will be missed

nerazim is an amzing terran map, so zergs should down vote. i have 30% win rate ugh.

Holy shit I absolutely love Abyssal Caverns. I havent really hit the other new maps too often quite yet but my few games on Abyssal Caverns were super sick and fun. But maybe its just super protoss favoured and thats why I like it. ^^

You take out metalopolis and give us these garbage tiny maps. Blizzard why do you make the excuse "we do not want to have large maps because new players won't know how to scout". Okay they can LEARN, even if they are going to have these maps they can have them as the novice version of bigger versions of these maps. I do not want tiny maps that all have the concept of the same exact thing. Stop hiding from fixing the game and continuing with making horrible maps.

Awful maps. Blizzard really need to hurry up and hire someone competent to design things for them.
|
50% of the map pool is now broken grats blizzard it's like going back to the launch of starcraft 2 with blistering sands, steppes of war and desert oasis.

6 Maps i dont want to play 6 Maps, which arent used in Cups

3/7 Chance of getting one of the non-cup maps.
Why should i play ladder, when i cant get training for the things really matter (Tournament/Cups).
Its nice for all casual gamer, but i dont think its good for the Pro-Am szene.
Im thinking about, to totally stop ladder, and just play custom games..
These "Not the Blizzard Ladder" Also seems interesting.
I dont get the point, why i should play maps like this.
Blizzard failed in my opinion. Dude you are sooo right ... and im so sad

Who isnt? This shit just keep getting worse and worse. What's so damn annoying is that Blizzard wants to attend to the "casual community" that doesn't want to play games for more then 15 minutes.
That's just wrong in my eyes. Do you know anyone that play SC2 and doesn't watch streams and pro-matches?
