If TSL is paying him next to nothing, I'm surprised he hasn't left yet, it's clear he was looking for a foreign team. And he will be paid better and treated better. You are a joke, ignorant opinion #1281. Get a fucking clue Actually there are contracts in esports "moron", TSL granted puma's wish to leave. They could have kept him since he was still under contract.

Believe it or not, but there are actually people behind a business and, especially with small businesses, hits like this can be incredibly crippling. It would be a respectful thing for EG to acknowledging TSL as a "brother" business in a growing field and respect them enough to negotiate and not poach. There is value in creating a positive image for your association. This is not a positive image.

Get informed at least before you slander somebody on a forum. Yet you insult him, and you assert he doesn't know their names yet you have no evidence for this. You do not know the information that's inside his brain. Quite ironic.

Define "quite well", because I guarantee you the players will always go for more. Quite well becomes "not enough" pretty quickly when someone else with more money comes knocking.

Competition in the sense that better players get better contracts from other teams can only be a good thing for the scene right? Make your players happy or fuck off.

B) I don't get the outrage, EG made Puma an offer, Puma took it to TSL managment, they agreed to it and released him early. What's wrong with this series of events? C) With Fruitdealer, Rain and now Puma choosing to abadon ship on TSL I can't help but wonder what the hell is happening behind closed doors over there that's making the players jump on chances to get out.

you're right, he's not their equal yet, but the poor bastard broke his arm. he's just settling, or about to settle back into a good practice environment. before the arm break he was one of the top terrans in europe and there's no reason he can't regain his top form again. edit: and as someone else noted, it's his tvz that's really causing him trouble at the moment. and guess who he's in the states practicing with?

Also, If puma stays in Korea, I think playing alone would be pretty bad for his skills, I would think he would have to travel to EG's house. no? If thats the case, who will translate? or can he speak english? Idra The Translator? For a Terran? NO. Why do people think that if you do not have a team, you will be a shitty player? He probably has a good list of people that are good. Do you guys not remember all the interviews of the Korean players who give credit to players for helping them practice? Most of the time they mention players OUTSIDE their team.

I just mean as far as a player being straight up bought out from another team. The details of these palyers signing's weren't really given as far as I know, so I don't know if it is a similar situation or not. But in this case a player was taken from another team, so that's kind of what I mean by setting a precedent. You are right though, this may not be the first case of this happening I'm not sure.

But as usual we'll have a couple hundred pages of people who know shit all talking just that. I'm calling it now, this will be part 3 of the ongoing saga of fabricated EG drama.

MC was approached I assume from SK at Homestory Cup (or just showed good relations which later turned into a sponsor) as he had a SK mouse pad and was living with at the time for the tourney with the SK product manager. So players being talked to by foreign teams might not be as unheard of.
