Well living together with Incontrol or someone like Machine, doesn't help him improve either tbh. EG should make a deal with some team like let's say Startale so Puma could live and practice in their team house or something similar to that.
Calling the end of PuMas career here, wont winning anything major ever again, thanks to lack of practice environment.

This is not professional sports you moron. There are not contracts, these players are free game and have free roam to do whatever they want. If TSL is paying him next to nothing, I'm surprised he hasn't left yet, it's clear he was looking for a foreign team. And he will be paid better and treated better. You are a joke, ignorant opinion #1281. Get a fucking clue
Actually there are contracts in esports "moron", TSL granted puma's wish to leave. They could have kept him since he was still under contract.
Its doubtful the contract had all to much time left on it if Puma was looking at his options.

Fucking hell. Firstly, this is horrible press for foreign teams. Absolutely shitty. Secondly, going behind management? Dodgy at best. Thirdly, Puma, I know money is great, but you just got 50k USD, and at the very least you could, y'know, wait until your contract expired?
Goddammit, what the hell is wrong with having a little professionalism in SC2?
Everything this man just wrote.
EG must be one of the most unprofessional teams there is. And I'm pretty sure that Puma will get bored when Incontrol, Idra and machine are "hitting the gym" - While Puma acctualy wants to improve in sc2.
Yes, because SC 2 players literally practice so much they can't do anything ever not involved with SC 2.
If you used your brain you would understand that what I ment is that Puma is used to practice SO much more then the rest of those guys, and I don't think it will be fitting at all for Puma.
Unless Puma played broodwar (I've no idea) as a pro in Korea I'd assume he's never practiced as much as Idra consistently in the same atmosphere. No need to use insults so aggressively kiddo.
Puma's a top-rated BW player, man.
This is huge...damn.
Lol Define top rated BW player. I don`t think he was.
I am going to call you out and say you never followed the BW scene and just listen to Artosis praise this guy rofl.

Not sure why people are freaking out about EG talking to the player... that was in America... Thats how almost every professional athletic organization has been for years. Why should they negotiate with the Coach unless they even know the player is at all interested.
I understand that players changing teams in sports is a very normal thing, but something feels a bit, I don't know... dirty about just "buying" a player like that. Maybe it's because E-sports is still in its infancy and so all the teams really feel more home-grown than big, faceless, corporate-sponsored entities.
Anyway, nothing against EG, but I can't really see Puma having as good a practice environment anymore. I mean, the whole reason why most of us agree Koreans are better than everyone else is due to their practice environment, and now that Puma doesn't have that anymore, I'm not sure if he's going to keep up with top Korean play.

I like how you call people ignorant when there are tons of things wrong with your post. 1. there are contracts, which is why Puma had to be released. It's not like these are loose organizations, there is an Sc2 players association and most pros are contracted. TSL was the first team to give players actual salaries, and Puma got one. He wasn't "looking" for a team, EG contacted him first. I don't know exatly how much money he was making but if they gave FD 30k and Tester 27k then I'm sure he got a comparable amound cause he's at least as good if not better. If you wanna tell me that EG has over half of an NASL grand prize money to throw on one player you better be able to back it up with facts, but I'm almost sure you can't.

I love when wrong people call other people morons with a tone of sarcastic elitism.

Did I touch a nerve or something? Good lord you're angry.

how do you see this same as startale picking up trickster are you trolling or something?
Yeah, Trickster clearly left TSL and was a free agent BEFORE he got signed.
Dont think thats clear. They left TSL but they should have been under contract. Which means TSL contracts probably arent binding. Trickster and FD left cause they didnt agree with the new directions. Seems pretty easy to just "leave."
Wow pretty dirty by EG and sucks for TSL. TSL paid for puma's flight to cali and he repays them by switching teams?! I can understand why TSL is pissed.

I didnt even think of that.
Can anyone on EG speak korean? Maybe idra a little?
At least FXO had guys that spoke korean BEFORE getting koreans (oz)

Yeah, it's not like any swedes was involved in the CS1.6 affair with gux, delpan, fnatic & SK.
Similiar situation this; like gux-thingy if it Puma wasn't under contract and like delpan if Puma had a contract... either way sirscoots commented on in on Lo3 in a pretty critical manner then so I would assume he has an explanation.

I am an EG fan, but feel a lil bit dissapointed atm.
Don't become like Real Madrid in soccer for example ... a team full of mercenaries ... thats not cool and proven to be not successful. (although soccer is a team game and its different, than the individual sports)
Seems we need something like federaction/asociation, which needs to define some rules like in every sport.
I don't see the problem, EG approached Puma to see if he would be interested. Puma says yes, they talk about details to find an agreement. The coach has no place in those discussions, you certainly don't speak to the coach until after you know whether the player would be interested.
In football they do it thru agents and the teams often are the last people to know that a player has been approached.
