I got the code, i have created the Bnet account, i have tried entering the code that offgamers supplied BUT bnet is coming up with this error ALL the time. 'an error has occurred. the authentication key you've entered cannot be claimed. Please try again'. So they supplied me with two different things, a 'code' and a 'key'. I have tried both and neither works, both comes up with this same bloomin error. Halp plz. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=243084¤tpage=9#164

They put down the tech structure and just pumped only units so by the time I got there (a timing where a NA zerg would have just started making units) they had all this shit and about 15 drones per hatch.

How bad is the latency? From europe. 30€ is cheap but it's still 30€, no need to throw it away if it's unplayable. Tracert shows ~400ms to kr.battle.net

Well, let's put it this way... When you start playing again on EU, to quote Destiny: "the clicks will feel like they're coming from the future"

![]() Edit: anyone else have it take FOREVER to download? I am getting barley over 100k down... wtf ![]() OR why it is uploading at 50-70K??? wtf is it uploading that much for? what is it uploading lol... its taking over my internets!! ![]() EDIT2: this should maybe be added to the OP: If your downloading the client, turn OFF peer 2 peer downloading in the options, holy crap took me from about 80k down and it SUCKING about 50K up making even internet browsing unusable to now downloading at 225-250k and not uploading anything since it isn't talking to the peers anymore. Working WAY better now.

Haha the Taiwanese GM players can't be THAT bad can they? back when I first got my Korean account I was barely master's on NA, so not very good at all. I placed into plat on Korea and then lost a bunch of games because I was getting used to the lag. Once I got used to it though and stopped being intimidated by the Korean playstyle, I realized that they weren't THAT special. Worked my way back up through high gold/plat with like 70-80% win and got put in diamond before I went back to laddering on NA because I didn't like the lag (even though I learned to play with it). So I don't think the skill gap between TW GM and KR should be all that different (if I had to guess, I'd say the TW GMs would probably be diamond/master's), though granted I've never played on TW server. One thing I will say though is, i would watch the replays of some of the gold/plat players on Korea and many of them had like 150-200 APM and very clean execution of opening build orders, on par with master's level on NA. However, they would then tend to either 1) do some really weird strategy that didn't make sense, 2) not be able to keep up in a macro game, or 3) just fall apart in any sort of game that required a decent amount of decision-making. So I think that's the biggest difference I've picked up on between NA and KR. I've smurfed on friends' accounts on NA at gold/plat/dia levels and a good portion of those opponents had a good working idea of what kind of strats/builds were good and what were bad, what counters what, etc, except their execution/apm/micro would be very poor. And almost everyone I talked to in these leagues would say they watched Day9/Husky/etc, so basically the situation was that they all knew a lot about the game, but things like mechanics held them back. On Korea, it seems to be the opposite - lots of people have decent mechanics, but decision-making and overall strategy is what separates the lower level players from the higher ones.

EDIT: Here is the error. ![]() Are you installing to a different directory than your current client? You cant install both on top of each other in the same SCII folder, just make it install in the same path but add a TW to the end ie ( c:/program files/Starcraft II TW )
