You need to use the code to "recharge" your account balance, and then use the 1150 credits to purchase the game.

CoR you can play on any server with any client as long as you use the relocalizer, or use the MPQ editor and replace the current laguage with the core files of the language you want (or just the sounds if thats why you want the KR client). Both of these methods have threads here on TL. The merge has not happened yet no, that will happen next tuesday with the ladder reset.

What's the MPQ editor?
When the server merge happens I'd be interested in having my TW client display and play in Korean.
Does anybody know if... When the servers merge, we'd be able to play using the KR client?

If you buy from Offgamers do you need a verified paypal account. I tried to do it over CCgameshop but they refunded me after telling me I needed a verified paypal account. I would rather just do a purchase from a non account.
Or is there a way to get it verified without having to get a paypal mastercard or bank account link?

I'm not sure if my paypal account is verified(email verified maybe), but I was able to purchase from offgamers after confirming my telephone # and address. (well purchased before telephone confirmation but the key was sent to me within 5mins of verifying my telephone number). Offgamers also gives you warnings on your account page if either of these two things are not verified.

Which code ? I really don't understand. An already purchased CD key ? Or is there something else i've not been aware off ? I mean can you buy it without going to any gamer's sites or is that where you get the code and then type it on bnet ?
I'm sorry but i haven't been able to enter to any site because of asian websites not supporting opera's browser (can't get Iexplorer or firefox to work, Chrome is worse).

I figure this is the same as the NA-LA merger? From what I understand they've already released the patch that will assist the merger, but the merger itself won't happen until Tuesday. Meaning TW is still seperate from KR.
Also, from another post in this thread, it was mentioned that everything TW would basically get "wiped", you'll need to create a new name, your MMR is wiped. Basically it'll be like completely deleting the TW server and just introducing all the players to KR.
The same will happen for all the other mergers, I assume LA will be wiped to join NA, RU wiped to join EU, etc.

When you purchase from offgamers, after the payment is processed and your info (email, telephone and purchase method) are verified then your offgamers account will give you 2 numbers, one is a "serial", the other is a "code". This "code" is a 25 digit set of numbers, this is what you will use on the bnet page. When you're on the bnet page, just be sure you have your realm set to Taiwan, then when you go to "recharge your account", you will be able to put in that code. When you do (and bnet accepts) your bnet account will have 1150 pts. Use these 1150 pts to add SC2 to your games. Once this is done, you're done! TW SC2 will officially be in your account.

just replace Latin America and North America with Taiwan and Korea and you get it, so yeah, you're right.. I read the US patch notes too fast, they are going to _soon_ be merged (most likely at S3)

Really? I wasnt asked to choose a new name / have my mmr reset when I played today after the patch. I thought this was part of the tw -> korea swap. TW players would have their MMR/Names reset and that has not happened to me. I'm still playing GM players on TW, and have not seen one korean name out of every game i've played in the past few days. TW most certainly has NOT merged with KR yet.
