At NASL he told us during autographs that he feels huk is going to win due to him not having practice while out here
Wow. Didn't think a week traveling would make that much difference. Yeah then MC clearly needs sit at home where real money is at, the GSL.

I think the prestige is at the GSL, MC could make more money in foreign tournaments, he constantly places pretty high in the foreign tournaments.

Mvp and MMA actually have a great chance at knocking out DRG. I know mvp hasn't been performing well lately but I'd put him as a favorite easily. His TvZ is monstrous. Probably the best in the world.
Also idk how strong DRG's zvp is. Someone like huk or alica could knock him out.

If he can make an undefeated run through the Open, he'll be placed into the same pool as DongRaeGu and his other teammates.
Just thought I'd stack a little bit more hype on here. You can think the MLG Commissioner Anakin for pointing that one out.
Full Open Bracket Roster should be released shortly. We're just waiting on confirmation from a few final players. There are several big names that no one is talking about who will be attending and playing through the Open Bracket.
Is there any particular reason why he was given a generic "invite" seed as opposed to the #3 seed that he earned from MLG Columbus?
I am just wondering what the official word is, as that would otherwise change the groups quite a bit.
cheers!
I already answered you in the other thread. MMA is not considered the #3 seed b/c he is attending as a GSL invite. If he took the #3 seed, then he would have to pay for his flight/hotel. MLG only pays for invites (invites are considered the last 4 seeds in pool play). If MMA didn't get an invite, he might not even show up to the tournament (like MC and Losira declined, even though they could have been in the pool). MLG gave MMA the invite b/c the winner deserves to defend his title.
Also note that the pools are permanent. If for some reason MC, Losira, Thorzain, etc... change their minds and attend MLG Anaheim, they will not be given their spot in the pool. They would have to play in the open bracket.
Well, he is seeded tho, but #2 not #3. Mvp is first in GSL-ranking between the contenders for obvious reasons, and MMA follows thanks to his GSL ST-success. DRG has 0 points.
MLG this month is going to be stacked hardcore. Thank you very much for sending over some fan favorites. I'm very excited to see both of their progressions.

Huk won't be there either since he's still in GSL and Alicia is quite bad in PvZ.
Probably wants to just chill in korea for a while, he's been abroad for a long time. Also he's still in GSL.
It is weird because Huk is seeded in the pool play but is still in GSL as well, if he wins this week I wonder what they will do with his spot.
It doesn't matter if Huk wins this week, because the only way he won't attend is if he makes the finals. He can make it all the way to ro4 and still have time to come if he gets knocked out in ro4 because there is 4 days b/w ro4 and mlg.
