Gretorp went 0-6 in the last 2 MLGs and he's still ranked in the top 30...the seeding is screwed. HayprO and TLO didn't do that bad in comparison to some others. ThorZaIN came through the open bracket in one MLG, he doesn't deserve to be seeded. If he does it again, then probably. Really the main problem is that they carried over the points from last year's MLGs where the competition was at a MUCH lower level, but those people still got to keep their points. And it's nearly impossible to lose your seeded spot because of the giant advantage that pool play confers.
it only carried for the first event then the points reset to 0 and the new rankings/seeds are based of the first event of the season, and No its not impossible to lose your seed.

Well actually, despite all that he said about Koreans in Foreign Tournaments being bad for Esports and all that good jazz, at the end of the day his real concern is the money, as is everyone who is actively participating in these tournaments. Because in reality if you watch which tournaments bring in the most viewers are the ones with the best players, and right now its the Koreans.Hosts see that Koreans bring in viewers and viewers equal MONEY. If foreigners like Catz want big prize pools their gonna have to do what the Koreans do, if not, there are plenty of amateur tournaments out there they can play in, with other players who don't want to put their full effort into SC2.
Yes money, but he's worried about the foreigner scene's economy in general not how much he is going to win. Pretty sure he said in his current state he isn't going to be winning any big prizes anyhow.

I really hope this forces more teams to seriously consider progaming houses to help their players compete with these top dogs. I have a feeling we'll have a another top 3 korean.

Does anybody know what the announcement will be?

Finals in America / the big world tournament thing. Yellow becoming a caster
just speculation.

Wow DRG in group A....that is just a ridiculous group...HuK can still do it though.....would've had a better chance against a korean terran than a zerg though =\.
|
I also hope Moon comes. Even if he plays through the open bracket. He is the most exciting player and reason enough to buy the HD pass.
