i think mlg system is good BUT last in group should be way worse seeded,
problem is that if you was good some mlg you can do like 5 times 0-6 0-2 0-2 and still will be in the mlg top30 so its not THAT perfect system but i like it

Might want to wait until he actually plays some SERIES and not BO1s, and more than 30 game

Just because his play looks nice doesn't mean he can be placed in front of players like Losira or July yet

Someone missed the LG tournament...

The other incredible thing is that the top-seeded player to come out of the Open Bracket is the guy who gets placed into Pool A. It's likely that, heading into Anaheim, Tyler will be the top-seeded Open Bracket player. If he can make an undefeated run through the Open, he'll be placed into the same pool as DongRaeGu and his other teammates.

Just thought I'd stack a little bit more hype on here. You can think the MLG Commissioner Anakin for pointing that one out.

Full Open Bracket Roster should be released shortly. We're just waiting on confirmation from a few final players. There are several big names that no one is talking about who will be attending and playing through the Open Bracket.

Will this ridiculous stacking score system(dunno how else to explain it) remain in this MLG too?
I mean the score just transfers over to the playoffs from the group stage,so if player A and player B were 2-0 in group, their match will start from 2-0 if they stumble upon each other in later stages.
So will it?
My dick has shrunk to the point where it looks like I have 3 balls.

Wow DRG is such a beast he has to be the number one contender right now hope that the foreigners can bring their best. Gotta love to see the level of competition getting higher and higher, we're going to have some sick games!

As much as I like TL and Tyler I really don't see this happening. With the likes of Choya/Ganzi/Alicia/Sen/Whitera (the last 2 I BELIEVE said were comming, I could be wrong), there's a chance he might not make it out at all, let alone top seeded

Edit: Also is Jinro coming? He'll be the only TL guy to not show if he doesnt right?

San was the second best protoss in the world after his good GSL run.

Just saying ^^

Consistency matter. DRG needs more games.

Who remembers this, and TSL and all that. To think this was just a few months ago, the Koreans have pulled ahead so much, people wont be able to beat the code B lads.

To everyone discussing ThorZain:

Because of his results in Columbus, Thorzain acquired the final spot (16th seed) in the Championship Bracket if he were to attend Anaheim. Thorzain declined to attend Anaheim due to the amount of traveling he has had to do. HuK who was 17th seed, is now 16th seed.

Time for foreigners to start realizing that they actually need to practice more than four hours a day. If progaming is your living, there is absolutley no reason not to put in at least 8 hours (full time job hours) into practicing.

IMMVP is not slumping I mean he lost 2 games by arguably fluke mistakes which is why the GSL is so unpredictable. They do not play enough games to remove the chance of randomness that 1 game matches gives. That is a great group of koreans though and it was a good idea to send a zerg. Hopefully it makes some good games and maybe a foreigner can sneak through somewhere.

At the start of the tournament, it's likely he'll be the top-ranked Open Bracket player based on current registrations. This is not an opinion, it's a fact.

If he is able to make an undefeated run through the Open Bracket, which will be a tremendous task considering the level of talent it will contain, he would be placed into Group A alongside DongRaeGu and other TL teammates.

Oh my bad, I didn't take into account the other MLGs and how they'd favor him in the open bracket
