Basically every sport has it memes, quotes and especially nicknames. You can take whatever sport you like and you can find e.g. in Tennis the "FedEx" , "Djoker" , "he did a Safin" or "you can not be serious" etc., that are remembered normally for ever and even young generations learn of them when they get into the sport.
And looking for nearly one year of Starcraft 2 history I think it there are many memes, quotes and nicknames which are very "epic" in their relation and should be remembered as long as possible.
So I would like to do a list of them, so that it gets updated regularly and people who actually miss some events (as there are so many of them, that I do not even know how TL writers manage to keep up with that) and single games, where these come up, can look them up here.
And I used the search function and I know that there is this thread, but I do not think that it is satisfying.
I would like to organize them the following UPDATED :
a) General split into 1. memes Every memes usually is quote by someone, but over time it develops into a overall used saying for some "logic". There will be surely fighting over what is meme and what quote, but please keep it low.
2. quotes Everyone can be quoted here, players, commentators, interviewers, coaches, trolls, elves or even people who have no further important position in gaming.
3. nicknames Straight forward, nicknames for everyone who applies also to 2. .

There are a lot of great insider jokes already. Your format however needs some work imho, if your lists grow a little there might be quite the abundance of "????".

Its from the Funday Monday where you were to play a FFA and kill the players in alphabetical order. Day made a HORRIBLE joke about how a player named "Ben" should have asked his mom, "Why couldn't you have named me Zen or the number... J...". It kind of snowballed from there.
It worked out well because the Day9/DJ Wheat team is now known as Day[J] Wheat.
