I hope Sheth stays because Code A is so difficult to get its not funny. Should leave only if lose in R32 cause going through qualifiers is like climbing Everest. Even w the easier top 3 MLG route, that's going to be INCREDIBLY TOUGH to obtain.

As someone said earlier, Team Liquid stayed in Korea for several months b4 posting results. Jinro did not even qualify for several GSL open seasons (that's a few months) before he started ripping it up. There are always ups and downs, and now he's down but there will also be an up and hopefully the ups are more overall than the downs. Huk did not post any major results for quite awhile until his recent European championships. Just keep at it. I hope you guys can stay for at least 3 seasons cause I think thats when the learning curve is no longer exponential (just my opinion).

Posting results for FXO is just a bonus, they are going to get creamed for awhile but so long as they can persevere and maintain their mental strength, they will grow exponentially compared to practicing outside of Korea. The opportunity to practice on the Korean ladder and on live tv in the GSTL is INVALUABLE as an aspiring pro-gamer. Being a pro-gamer is not all sunshine and relaxing, grinding out 2 million games is not fun, but it will make a lot of things 2nd nature and instinctive. Being good at something involves hard work, a LOT of it.

Losing will always bring its fair share of jeers and insults but it is important to ignore it and just believe in yourself. Winning will just be that much sweeter and look forward to your first win. It doesn't matter how many times you fail, its always about getting back up one more time than you fall.

"If you do not believe in yourself, nobody else will." - Kobe Bryant.

A lot would love the chance to try being among the best at something they love, and if playing computer games for a living isn't fun I don't know what it. Keep it up FXO, always think positive, plan to win and stay focused on execution. There is nothing to regret once you've given your all.

I think sheth is leaving code a because he's homesick. Remember reading an interview with him saying it's hard living with 10 people in the house because he's used to living alone.

Its not so much homesick. Its just personal reasons. Not everyone is made for the team house style of life.

Korean girls have high standards. They like to stick with their long-hair, pretty Korean guys or the foreign equivalent ;P

if you expected FXO to do well in korea, then you're in a surprise. It takes awhile to get accustomed to the korean strats, give em time. they can do well!

And to make matters worse, sheth is a nice guy... and we all know what that means

Anyways, it's really sad that Sheth doesn't attempt to join in next season, he is one of few foreigners who i consider talented enough to make it to Code S if he gets more Tournament and LAN experience.

Yeah I think sheth is like TLO. TLO left because he didn't like living with like 10+ dudes due to lack of privacy and that's why his team house in sweden only has a few people living in it. I assume sheth feels the same way.

Seems pretty bold to make generalizations about women from a foreign country just because you know some Korean Americans.

Everybody wanted to get their shot at the booth, and who honestly can blame them. This is why they came to Korea.

However, when you go down 2 games to 0. You stop catoring to the wishes of the players and you try to win, bringing out the stronger players. This isnt just about the team, but also about putting on a good show, for the fans, and for the people that paid money to bring you guys over.

The only time you put weaker players in is if you have a nice lead, or at the beginning of the matches. And you still consider who is good against what, the map and why they are going in there. The objective is to win, not to get experience.

Im sorry to say, but zenex is laughing at you guys. Make some better decisions next time.

You should reread this, and then consider that we have each player over here always preparing for something specific. Sometimes things don't go to plan; that's life. It sucks, but it happens.

Reread what exactly. Moonan was a decent choice. Everybody else hasnt played a game. Oz didnt play, QXC didnt play and sheth didnt play.

You re-read it.

And what makes you so sure that the players they played weren't the ones preparing specifically for the match-up and map they were sent out on?

Because they lost?

EDIT: And what is this talk about Sheth leaving? I scanned the last few pages and didn't see any official confirmation. Only that Sheth isn't playing Code A, not that he's leaving Korea. Is there a source somewhere that he is?

I guess in the gungho, rar-rar I was doing earlier, I forgot that not everyone is quite like me. I enjoy traveling and but for some odd reasons, probably would have spent a lot of time outside of the States. Not every progamer is built the same.

I guess for every Huk, there's a TLO, Haypro or Ret that liked it, but really would rather be home. And since most of the guys are in the 18-22 age bracket, it's possibly the first time they've been away for that extended for a time.

No one said sheth is leaving now. Just that he'll be leaving after gstl and won't be competing in code a August.

Exactly.. because if they lost it obviously means they didn't try at all and put no thought into it and had no preparation....I mean this is the first time anyone has gotten an all kill and it must be because FXO didn't prepare at all...........

Yeah, there was never an "unknown" all-killing another team... oh, wait, there was.
+ Show Spoiler +

For example TaeJa all-killing Zenex

It happens to every team and there is no shame in getting all-killed, no matter who the opponent was. Also, most teams (including i think FXO) prepare mostly for the strongest opposing players as you cannot prepare 100% for all possible opponents on all maps. It might have actually looked better for FXO if Zenex had sent in Byun, Kyrix or CoCa.
