Destiny is a jobber... he's an okay player, but to be honest its not worth the headache trying to rein him in. Like, can anyone EG having a player like idra, minus the talent? IdrA is popular DESPITE his attitude while Destiny is popular DUE TO his attitude I'm pretty sure Idra is popular because of his attitude as well. Idra rage is the only reason I ever heard of him, and even got interested in the Western sc2 scene, otherwise I'd just be purely following GSL.

Basically there'd been talks of ROOT/Complexity merging for a while, to relieve stress from catz/drewbie, which is cool, it gives them more time to play, etc... One day, I got a message pretty much saying "hey, that contract is due tonight, you gotta sign it today". I pretty much had half a day to decide whether or not to sign, and it seemed like if I didn't sign, the deal would fall through for the rest of the team. I didn't want to mess up everyone's opportunities to move on with their career just because I felt uncomfortable, and there was nothing -too- objectionable in the contract, so I signed it. In the following days, I had more time to think about it, and the more I turned it over in my head, the more problems I found with the arrangement, and the more reasons I found not to be associated with a major business SC2 team, at least not at this moment in time. I talked a long time to Catz, and had a few words with Jason, and eventually settled on the conclusion that I wouldn't actually be joining. I respect your decision Destiny. We will still be cheering you on from the sidelines at any event you participate in. Keep up the good work and don't stop improving. You have come so far from when you started.

Thanks for letting us know and before any real drama is started around whatever by one of the crazies on this forum.

But at the end of the day they arent trying to be popular or influential (at least it isnt their main goal). They want to win. If they just wanted to be popular they'd sign Husky and TotalBiscuit. Destiny is more of an entertainer than a pro player, and really good at that. I think this is the right choice for him and for coL.

Regardless, I think its wrong, seeing as Pokebunny is a part of the VT team and will know the inside out of his team.

GL to Destiny, we need interesting characters in the SC2 community, that's why he has so many fans. Keep doing what your doing, good things will follow.

Personally I don't hate or support destiny, but I have to say it's probably a good thing. If he struggles to find a team it will make sure other players don't start making ridiculously unprofessional obnoxious statements, even if it is on their stream. Best of luck to him, I have a feeling he will need it.

I'd love to ask whether or not you knew you were going to get removed before this post (meaning your reaction on your stream was a troll) but I wouldn't expect an honest answer either way.

Do you think if Wolf Blitzer was a gay bashing mysogynist on Twitter and claimed it was his personal belief, that it wouldn't reflect poorly on CNN? What I mean is he wasn't on, say, iNcontroL's stream, he wasn't on NASL, he wasn't in GSL bm'ing in chat, instead he was on HIS stream with HIS name in it, where it doesn't and hasn't even said coL. His ladder name is still ROOTDestiny, his stream says "Destiny", etc.

1) Didn't pick Kiwi and Slush - Arguably the two best players 2) Kicked Destiny in a "BM" way by not informing him - most influential player User was temp banned for this post.

That alone would make him famous even without the rage.

No harm there, besides what's been already expressed. Despite Mr. Bonnell’s agreement to exercise solid judgment and professionalism in his trade, some of the polarizing opinions being expressed on his stream were in direct opposition the values compLexity has stood for since 2003. This behavior made our decision clear and Mr. Bonnell has been released from any and all contractual obligations So what is this all about? [edit: worded too strongly] Why is that relevant at all to this discussion? Seems like coL is shooting a man when he's down. So suddenly its all about his behavior on stream and not about his apprehensions of joining a major organization? If Steven wanted to leave for whatever reasons are his own, then thats that. Whats the need to bring up "polarizing opinions being expressed on his stream"?
