I will disagree with the lack of trade options.
the gamesleft^2 square factor means a huge tradevalue drop off between players with 2 games left vs players with 3 games left (and between gamesleft=1 and gamesleft=2 players). This implies that relatively speaking, as long as you're willing to take a 1-series hit, you can trade-up your mediocre players for some really good ones.
Hopefully I will have time to expand on this chain of thought later on this week.

I understand your point. The trade off is when you trade 2 round player for 1 round player is that you lose 50% of series the player plays. So the new player needs to have double the point earning potential per match just to break even. No, more than double because of the trade tax. It's better to pick a player that gets played a lot and consistently get 1-2 wins for multiple rounds than to get an amazing player that may or may not get played but could possibly get 3-all kills. I've always been a proponent of trading for players with more matches left because they get more opportunities.
edit: In the end it all comes down to Expected point earned per round * number of matches left - 1 (trade tax) to see if a trade is worth it or not.
if you are losing 33%-50% on number of matches, you need to add 50%-100% in expected points they will earn you per round in fantasy. Actually more cuz of trade tax. And personally I just don't see any of that for any of the players I have. I'd much rather have someone like Puzzle/GuMiho for 2 rounds than MC/Bomber for 1 round. This may make more sense for other people that are stuck with a low value player who has more matches left. But all the players on my team I believe have high enough point earning potential for this not to be worth it.

so people are still really sure Naniwa is going to do well ?
what do you think about trading
July for Puzzle and Inca for Byun ?

Why the f*ck isn't the PuMa trade free, like FruitDealer and Tester were? Screw this shit. This season has been a joke.

He has a good chance to do well based off foreigner results recently and how he has been playing. But the really good thing is that the team is so small and he is quite a confident player, also moon and lyn might be saved as aces for that team, so he is almost guaranteed to play a game every week imo. I wish I had him on my team, i'm hoping he plays in their first match and suffers some nerves so I can get him cheap for the next week :D

made my first trade - IM for F.United pretty obvious trade imo just wanna wait for the leads so i can trade again already have naniwa and i dont think i want thorzain seeing as how nearly every korean Terran is good at TvT

I really think the Puma trade should be free, though, I feel seriously cheated of an awesome player that I worked up a lot of points for.

Hm, where are the leadoffs T_T

A statement regarding Puma would be nice. He's a quite popular player, on many team rosters. I think he should be tradable without penalty at least.

Schedule has ST/IM as a week 10 match, so I don't know if that's accurate, unless they switched things around.

wow if these are correct these are going to be really close. MKP is in a slump so the value of a cheap Taeja could be worth it. Also MVP is on fire from MLG owning Terrans all over the place, however he might be really tired from the flight back...
I don't know if I should trade Huk for MVP.. ><
Edit: startale isnt listed to play during week 6????
|
I hope its true, I traded Huk for MVP. Figured MVP is gonna go on a rampage.

Oh, so I guess F.United doesn't start until next week. This is good for them as thorzain/nani have the blizzard invitational this weekend. Would have been hectic trying to get to both.
EDIT: Looks like F.United plays two games in one week (8) lol

MVP vs Bomer, WOW. This is THE clash, so exciting.

Strange move from ST IMO
This leaves July as their ace. And LosirA or NesTea should be able to rip him apart in a ZvZ like np.
