technically speaking, I have the best anti-team thus far. It cost me a grand total of -1pt and I already rid my most dangerous player.
:p

So Lyn won't play for F. United?

I completely botched this. Now I have Lots and Horror that will be diffucult to trade. DRG is the only player I can trade for Naniwa or Thorzain. I can get Fenix too. Not sure how to proceed really. I guess I need to check the next lead offs. Do you think it's worth it to get Fenix and and Naniwa/thorzain. Isn't soccer on Funited too?

Will PuMa be free to trade (0 points and doesn't count as a trade), like FruitDealer and Tester were? I think we who had him on our team deserve some compensation. He was TSL's ace and maybe the most promising terran player in Korea, after all.

Supernova dropped from 15,5 to 7 in trade value. He didnt paly and his team won. Why did he loose more than 50% of this value?
|
lol everyone's teams are seriously getting F'd up by unexpectedly good players. it's TSL3 all over again!
|
I think next season I'm just going to pick a team full of NSHoSeo players, whether I know who they are or not, cause apparently they win no matter what.
|
Next season I won't be picking IM as my main team, since IM's coach is always doing everything in his power to lose. Such arrogance... I'm actually glad they lost in such a humiliating way. He might learn a valuable lesson from this.

His games are almost all played. When oGs has played all of their games he will be worth excactly 0 points.
Edit: Or well they have 3 more games left but I assume that's the reasoning. In correlation Funited players are gaining trade value fast.

I agree. I picked them but forgot that their coach doesn't want to win. I've noticing a trend where the new teams is droing great in the GSTL. MVP last season and Nhoseo this season.

How?? The trade value isn't some number that compares how good a player is. It's a value that tries to capture a player's potential to earn fantasy points. If you have zero games left to play, you have zero potential to gain any more points, so you are worth nothing.

YES! qxc's all-kill has let me jump up from 102 AAAALLLLLL the way to 20. Life is good.

Think I'm completely out of the running now heh, I'll try again next time. Bet on horror and startale success - Think I can only trade horror out for possibly IceCream or CoCa to hope I can regain some point value over there.

Anyhowz. For next round (2 week wait gahhhhhhhhhhhh! at least MLG will be super entertaining to watch next weekend). I'm thinking Tassadar -> Soccer (He will probably be starter anyway) and fOu FXO Korea for F.United. After the FXO upset, every single team has accumulated zero or positive points. This makes me feel a lot more confident about the fOu -> F.United trade. It's gonna run the full season and the trade has no tax. F.United even if they lose 3-4 a bunch will come out positive score, better chances than fOu vs zenex + ST for sure.
I'm gonna stay out of oGs, SlayerS and Prime, despite them being the teams with 3 games left instead of 2, it's just really really hard to gamble on which of their players right now. BBoongBbong seems pretty good but can't afford to get him.
IM coach might actually decide to start using their better players throughout the entire series again. YoDa/Losira/Nestea are all pretty good alternatives to GuMiho. GuMiho could still do well but Nestea + pissed off IM coach could == profit??? Gotta think about that one. YoungHwa is definitely worth keeping.
Gonna swap IMHappy for seal after next week. Seal + Sage + Jjakji is gonna be sick NSH combo . Too bad I don't have anyone to get Sculp with, but don't want all my eggs in one basket anyway, which why I'm gonna get rid of Tassadar. I'm okay with 1 of the best at each race from Hoseo for death team

Somehow I have qxc and still dropped a few hundred slots in ranking :/
bamboo, are you taking the fou-> f.united trade now or you making the "power play" after week 6? I would love to be the kingmaker if you and godemperor take separate options on this one.

I think I will do it before week 6, but I'm gonna wait to look at the starters for both series before I finalize my decision.
I think fOu will do better vs zenex than F.United will vs TSL.
F.United will be 3.2 if they lose 2-4, but 5.4 if they lose 3-4. fOu will be 4.48 if they lose 3-4, 5.0 if they win 4-3, 6.1 if they win 4-2
It really comes down to F.United. If they lose 2-4 then this will be good play. if they lose 3-4 then fOu will have to win 4-2 to be able to trade, which is unlikely against byun + puzzle.
Say what you will about Naniwa/Thorzain not having a lot of time to practice in korea for the first week. They've both flown for MLG/TSL and played incredibly right away. I know getting used to Korean opponents is different but at least Naniwa has been preparing against the likes of MC and Moon for quite a while. While I think it is more likely that F.United will lose 2-4, it's a bit too risky.
What's gonna matter is the starters, because starting off with 1 win ahead/behind will alter the final score in the favor of one of those trades.
