MC guaranteed start this week, and oGs has one more game then MVP... But MC might be schedule bogged in the future and unable to play... ugh, hard choice.
Hard to call. I personally think DRG is better. MC is starting this week but in the other weeks he won't have as many opportunities for reverse killing because oGs has a deeper roster than MVP, but still, if MC all kills tomorrow, and gets to close out 2-3 ace matches, that's as many points as DRG doing two more 3-0 reverse kills and then some. Really tough call.

Keep in mind MVPs remaining 3 opponents are F.United, Prime and TSL. These 3 don't have particularly deep rosters.
Point is, it is unlikely any of them will lead 3-0 or 3-1 against MVP. GuineaPig, Genius, Keen or someone will likely get a few kills each week. So DRG won't have as many opportunities to get 3-4 kills.
I think reasonably, the most you can expect from DRG now is 2 kills each week. Of course that is nothing to scoff at. That is likely a max of 18 points (if MVP wins all of them... which they likely will).
If you think MC will get more, go for it. I personally think it will be very close. Safer bet is probably sticking with DRG. The gamblers pick is MC.

Except that besides DRG, MVP kinda sucks. I can easily see Prime and TSL killing MVP until DRG comes. Damn, even F.United has a great chance killing MVP until DRG comes there. I know they have ok players on their rosters but they never perfrom and almost never even send them out and when they do they mostly get 1 kill. MC pretty much have to all-kill to be worth trading for from DRG.

You are either severely underestimating those three teams or overestimating MVP's roster. GuineaPig, Genius, Keen, and the rest of the MVP team (sans DRG) doesn't have half the talent TSL has. And F.United won't be the pushover FXO has been. Prime has much stronger players but I don't think they have anyone that can beat DRG is their problem. DRG was always attractive because MVP is a joke of a team without him. Its likely hes going to multi-kill every single match because no one else no the team is worth a damn. The people that are doing well didn't pick DRG because they had a hard-on to him, he was quite simply the best ace on the team that was clearly going to be heavily relying on their ace.
edit: Wax I wouldn't recommend picking up MC. You have a very valuable ace on an otherwise listless team, or a less-valuable ace on a team overflowing with different, talented, code-a/s quality talent.

First and foremost, thanks p4NDemik for tidying up my original post and for finding out IM's starter for me.
I probably need to offload either Happy or Younghwa or both for other players this week, but I have no idea whom for. The ones that stand out for me at this level are: sC(However, FXOKorea has only 2 more matches to go vs ZENEX and Startale, so I think he would be used since they need to win both of them to stand a chance to get into the playoffs) Tassadar(Solid protoss, who starts this week) BBoongBBoong(who oddly enough is the Prime player with the most wins in GSTL format and it seems that Prime has quite a bit of faith in him) TheSTC (Not entirely sure due to the depth of oGs-TL's roster, it really is hard to pick out players that will play a lot for them) Clide(TSL has a smaller roster relative to others) Also, I can get Ace for Younghwa but not Happy
Other pieces that could possibly be in play here are Byun and Alicia for SocceR and Fenix respectively, but that could possibly wait until next week, though I'm thinking of holding on to Byun since he's on a relatively hot streak and is used quite often by ZENEX.
Any advice would be much appreciated here.
MC vs DRG, I really don't know, DRG has been the one that carried MVP throughout the both GSTL's and is more of a proven product in this particular best of 1, loser picks map format. However, the more he plays, the more his analyzed and it means that teams become much more prepared for his tactics and makes him an easier target to snipe. I'm not saying that it would be an easy task regardless, but similarly, MC seems to be put in the same position as DRG in having many information/replays out there for other teams to analyze as well as act as the fundamental anchor for oGs(oGs-TL) in team leagues but hasn't delivered as much. I'm not necessarily saying that either player is better than the other, heck I would love to see a bo3/5/7/whatever between the two, but in this format and situation, I would probably hang on to DRG here.

I think you're just over-thinking it. In the end all that matters is the potential for points. Even with one less match to play, DRG has the potential for twice the points than MC in my book. The skill of the player is far outweighed by the skill surrounding him when you're looking at the value of an ace in the winners' league format.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! I used to have MC on my team before I had to trade him for GuMiho. I don't think MC will get an all-kill though so meh.

Fuck yeah, I already traded for Tassadar this week. MC as a starter looks really interesting. Good luck, everyone!

Crap—I traded NSHoSeo off for SlayerS last week, and now SlayerS has plummeted so far down I can't afford oGs. It seems like some of the early high-value investments (MC, team IM, Polt/MarineKing) may really start to pay off this week.
If FXO started anyone other than qxc I'd be tempted to get Horror, who will be virtually impossible to unload if he doesn't perform but will still yield team-win points for IM. But he's extremely unproven, and his TLPD stats aren't encouraging, so I doubt he'll yield many points. I'll probably drop Keen for Tassadar and cross my fingers for a strong start from NSH this week, although I expect StarTale to take the match.

I have Killer on my main team and he is only like 0.20 points above oGsMC, should I trade him for MC seeing how MC is starting this week and has 3 weeks to go after this one and Killer only has just the 3 weeks.
Killer however will see playtime in all weeks most likely, can the same be said about MC?

I Did DongRaeGu-Mc and GuMiHo-July. I think Mc could get an All Kill and i could get DongRaeGu back after some time. I think fOu is not going to PlayOffs so I am attempting to get stronger players who will be used more often. July should get a ton of play against stronger teams. I also have MMA who should get a lot of play once his slump ends. I have Byun and Ace. I could get sC from Byun if fOu goes to PlayOffs. I am probably keeping Puzzle and Ace. i Hope Creator and Hero get some time so I can Trade them. I Am sure oGs will use Hero and I am not as confident for Creator.

You should make that trade in a heartbeat. Killer did well last week, but has never been particularly consistent in his SC2 career. He is also one of any number of players TSL can toss in the middle of their line up. He is not the ace, PuMa is. It means if he gets used, he may get you one or two wins, but there is a very low chance he'll repeat his performance from last week.
MC on the other hand, is usually the oGs ace. I'm not sure what sort of in-house ranking they did that puts him out first, or maybe he's just confident and convinced the coach to let him do it. Either way, this week he will probably get 2-3 kills, unless he gets sniped immediately, and you can count on him to ace for oGs in all their matches. The same can't be said for Killer.

Playoffs are not included in Fantasy GSTL.
I wouldn't count on anybody surpassing DRG in points at this point. If you are trading away DRG, you probably won't get him back. But, since virtually everyone at the top of the rankings has DRG, trading him away and hoping it pays off is probably the only way to bounce to the top. Personally, I traded him away last week for Bomber and so far I haven't been disappointed. MC has a good chance of netting 2+ kills this week, and can usually be relied upon to be the ace for oGs. If you want to take the risk, it's not a bad trade.
July is iffy. He always seems to do only OK in the team league, and has been slumping a bit lately. I'm not sure who you should choose instead, but that trade only seems meh to me.

Darn Puzzle ruining my chances, if he clinched a win last week, I could afford to make some decent trades.
I would have though of investing in Max, but I think tassadar will hold him off - also, I'm really tempted to just pick up Horror to hope for a smash against FXO.

So I trade JYP for Horror, looking for the zerg to score some easy points =) As much as I like JYP, he can easily be traded back due to his low value Max looks likable, especially since hes random, but doesnt guaranteed against Tassadar, plus the fact that I already had 3 ST players (Ace, Bomber, july)

Yes, MC is my captain gogo. I hope Ogs does well, I have MC, Nada and Huk :S . I also picked up Tassadar for this week.
I think I am gonna keep St_Ace. Not sure if I should trade GumiHo for July ...
Who do you think will get sent out for IM if Horror loses?

Since he goes first he should get some points and he is going to be used in every ogs game. I decided not to get July. I instead took Tassadar with Byun. He surely beats Max and could get some kills.

From his TLPD, I'm skeptical about Horror. He lost a Bo3 to KawaiiRice in an iCCup weekly, and you can bet qxc will be training hard for this TvZ. So far picking up the guy going out first against FXO has paid off, but I think that may end this week.
