Faaaa!
Eh, I would try to keep Byun, and trade someone else for Tassadar. I think he has the potential to get 2 kills or so on ST, but Byun is used pretty reliably on ZeNEX. I'm not sure you can even call Curious overrated, he's never really impressed anyone. RevivaL seems to be a good pick there, he's really TSL's only Zerg.
I also traded MVP for fOU, and I plan on getting F-United next week before they start their games. I don't think it was necessarily a bad move. MVP will probably win, it's true, but so far all indication is that they will rely heavily on DRG, which means 4-3 victories or defeats. That's really not that many points. I don't think F-United will be pushovers like FXO was, and while they probably won't win their division, I think the games will be close and they ultimately have the potential for more points than fOu or MVP.

interesting choice for ogs to have MC as starter. Already have Tassadar ;D anyways, some trades i've been considering:
MMA -> Fenix MMA has been barely played at all and the only game he played, he lost. I don't think he'll get much playing time atm, but there might be a possibility because SlayerS will need him to be awesome in order to get into the playoffs. Would use Alicia, but he's my captain.
IMHappy -> sC, The StC, Puzzle, or SocceR If IM's leadoff player, Horror, all kills FXO this week, Happy's value is going to drop hard. If Horror loses, its a tossup between this guy and Younghwa, which is kinda risky. fOu will need sC most likely in order to make playoffs, Puzzle seems pretty talented, but both have the inherent problem of 2 matches left to play. ogs seems willing to use The StC, but with such a deep roster, hard to tell how much he'll play. SocceR just because he's F. United, so he'll have 5 matches, and people seem to like him.
Byun -> Puzzle or SocceR same reasoning as happy basically, but Byun seems on a hot streak, but only has two matches left (I think?)
GuMiHo -> July, Ace, Younghwa, The StC GuMiHo has that two matches problem, but he's basically fOu's second best player, so he'll most likely get playing time. July is risky, but potential payoff? Ace seems like an interesting choice, but question is how much he'll get played. Same problem with Younghwa, because if Horror doesn't all kill, its a tossup between him and Happy. TheStC's problem has been already stated.
Well, thats my analysis. Thoughts, suggestions?

Horror is an absolute steal at 5.13, guaranteed 1 point for IM winning and fairly likely to win a game or two as well. Tassadar, Max and Hannibal are all pretty decent picks too I think.
Trading Killer for MC is an excellent trade, but I don't reckon giving DRG up for MC is worth it.
Byun for Tassadar is alright, I personally didn't do it but only because I thought Max for Smart is a better use of my 2nd trade this week. If you have a spare trade then grab Tassadar
Really hoping OGS use Hero this week, but I that relies on MC losing and Prime not having a protoss out for Inca to snipe to be likely.

Anyone not in the top 100 really doesn't have a choice but to try and trade DRG away and hope that it pays off. Otherwise you'll get points when DRG does, but so will everyone else and you'll stay in the middle of the pack. Yeah there's the good chance that your guy sucks and DRG keeps snapping necks, but if you want to win it's a risk worth taking.
Edit: And I wouldn't call anyone who lost a Bo3 to KawaiiRice and is 1-5 in official matches a steal for any price. I'd be willing to bet that Horror gets you that 1 point for IM winning and that's it.

Did HongUnPrime just 3-1 MC in code S last night. Well, well, yet another MC sniper on Prime in addition to Polt. Didn't I say something to someone earlier about HongUn losing points for anti-team despite being "bad" and still winning games.
I AM A PROPHET SAGE.
Cuz Tassadar is gonna get 2 kills and then Sage is gonna clean up 2-0 against Startale. Also Horror won't take more than 1 game and then YoungHwa or Happy is gonna clean up FXO.
PS. I'm actually superscared of people with MC/Bomber/IM as their team because this is how I'm gonna lose my #1 spot.
Sage + Naniwa is gonna be the key to my victory rest of this season!

I honestly don't think they will send out HongUn against MC for two reasons: One, he is still in pain, so I feel like they would only use him if they have no other options; and Two, Polt makes a better sniper for vP. HongUn won last night convincingly, but I think anyone would tell you that 1 game of PvP, it's impossible to accurately predict who will win.
Agreed with Tassadar getting two kills, but I don't see Sage getting past Bomber.
And I'm counting on Horror losing to qxc and Happy coming in to all-kill. A kid can dream right? FXO has proven incapable against Korean Terrans.

Which is more likely, IM playing Younghwa or Happy if (most likely) Horror loses?

Yonghwa seems almost like a PvP sniper at this point. I'd be willing to bet they go to LosirA/Happy/Seed next, but your guess is as good as mine which they will use.

YoungHwa has had pretty decent results in all match ups, and his PvT seems fairly strong, he did get used to take out GuMiho in week one. I wonder why we haven't seen Seed yet, I can definitely see Seed coming after Horror. FXO is their chance to safely get their less experienenced players chances to shine.

Seed gona come out after Horror since he hasnt had a chance to play, then either YoungHwa or Happy to wrap it up if it gets that far.

What is the map? for IM vs FXO? I was thinking of trading alive for Horror. What player should I go for?
|
Whom do you guys think I should trade Naniwa for on my anti? I was thinking either Sage or Jjaki would be a decent pick: NsHoseo seems better than I thought they were, but I reckon they'll lose most from now on. Another option is MKP because Prime coach is terrible and MKP is in a slump.

i think i will trade Happy, the risk is to high of him not being played. the question is, who should i trade him for?? sC, The StC, Puzzle, or SocceR?

Someone said Bel'Shir Beach? I'm not sure where the starting maps are officially announced.
I personally would keep alive. He hasn't seen play yet only because PuMa and Killer got 3-kill. I still think he is a strong player on a small team. I don't think TSL will have as an easy time in the next few rounds so Alive is bound to see some play. On the other hand Horror doesn't seem very good, he is arguably the worst starter we've seen so far to come out against FXO and I don't see him getting many kills and also is useless for other IM rounds. If you want to score points in IM vs FXO my suggestion is to speculate on who will come out after Horror, I think it should be one of Happy/YoungHwa/Seed but it's a hard call. They may use another weak player just because how confident they are about beating FXO and can afford to send out another brand new no name to get experience after Horror.
I'm personally trading Byun for Tassadar. It's a tough call but NsHS has 1 more game to play than ZENEX and Tassadar + Sage anchors NsHS just like Byun + Puzzle anchors ZENEX so there's not too much difference between them imo, and we know Tassadar will start for sure so there's the advantage. Both of them seem to be in good condition right now so it is a tough call. I would trade Happy instead of Byun for Tassadar but I got a strange suspicion that Happy might come out after Horror so I won't do that. Also trade tax + IM win = 2 points to get rid of Happy and that doesn't seem as worth it.

Of those two Jjakji is definitely the better pick for your anti-team. If NsHoseo gets put into a losing situation, you can bet Sage will be thrown in as ace to rack up a couple kills. Jjakji won't be all-killing anyone else anytime soon.

I'd put Lyn on my anti if you don't already have him. Jjakji would be the next choice. MKP is a bit risky despite him being on a slump. Sage just beat PuMa and Byun in ICCup monthly so I see him going far as the NsHS ace, in fact I'm gonna keep him on my main instead of getting Thorzain or PuMa because thats how confident I am about him.

firstly, if you undo a trade can you get the trade back or do you lose it?
my anti team is killing me - killer moon and rainbow do i swap moon for Polt?im thinking prime might send him out to snipe MC and im hoping MC will fuck him up
edit: also will there be another week of trading before next weeks games?

Trading Alicia/Byun for Horror seems like a stupid decision, but if it pays off, I'm going to get points that most of you people in the top don't. If I wanna make top ten, I have to gamble. That's why I'm going with both Horror and Tassadar. If Horror loses, though... well, then I'm screwed.

On one side you can't underestimate any zerg that practices with Nestea/Losira. On the other hand, if that was true then every team's average players should be rapidly gaining skill learning for the team's ace. Which is not true, very few players have seen sudden improvements like that. Why are August and Virus still not even close to being as good as Bomber? Why are hero not getting as good as HuK and MC? Not to mention a large number of players have practice partners outside of their own team. I don't think it factors in as much as people think it does. Horror has like 3000 ladder games, looks like he's getting most of his practice through ladder is another argument in this particular case.
Could horror all kill FXO? Certainly there is the possibility, I just don't think it's likely enough to gamble for it. But then again I'm rank 1 so my main goal is to take as few risks as possible to maintain my lead, not to take risks to get ahead. Honestly between people that have MC or Bomber, or just IM as their team, I highly doubt I'll stay rank 1 next week.
