does FXO buying fOu mean that qxc/oz/slug/etc might get to play for fOu's last 2 rounds in GSTL? Since fOu will be FXOKorea starting week six in GSTL.

The way it sounds, from the wording of the announcement, is that FXO acquired fOu. To me that would suggest that, in a hypothetical scenario, fOu could compete on the FXO team, as part of the organization, but FXO could not compete on the fOu team.
Not to mention this would require the foreign FXO members to stay for additional time in Korea. I don't know how long this acquisition has been in the works, but to my knowledge the FXO team only intended to stay until their GSTL matches were over.
Again, this is all speculation, but I don't think you'll see qxc or oz playing for fOu. Not that they would net you many points anyways (or that you need it  ).

FXOBoss specifically said all FXO members (ALL) could participate in the team league and make use of the fOu house or the malaysian pro house.
So yes, qxc/oz etc. should be able to compete for fOu (FXO Korea) if they wanted to. Odds are they won't though. It is subject to in-house rankings which will make it difficult for any FXO members to compete. Well Oz might have a chance because there aren't many strong protosses on FXO Korea. But qxc would have to compete with GuMiho, sC and asd for a spot in GSTL.
I really don't know what they're going to do for scoring purposes. If any of the current FXO members do come out for FXO Korea all hell breaks loose in terms of scoring/calculating trade values.

Hrm good to know. You're right about Twilight being towards the top of their list for Protosses, most of their strong players (like almost any team) are Terrans.
Sucks too, because he's on my anti-team  . Might have to look into this a little bit more, while he was on the FXO foreigner squad you could pretty much count on teams being able to prepare for and snipe him as one of the only dangerous people on the roster.

GSTL rosters are locked, so no player who was on the FXO roster for this GSTL will be able to play in fOu/FXOKorea's remaining matches, just as Trickster and Fruitdealer cannot play for ST in this GSTL. I believe what Boss meant is that all FXO members will have the option of participating in future seasons of the GSTL.

Good to know. So once FXO's games are done Twilight is a lock on my anti-team  .
On a different note, does anyone know where they typically release the starting players for GSTL? Was going to keep an eye on it to see when they go up.

The rosters get updated after week five so you may see roster changes for the second half of the gstl is how I understand it. Or maybe they meant it takes five weeks for a roster change to ale effect? Not sure which is the right interpretation, but either way roster can be changed during this season.

If you google translate it there's a thread says something like gstl week 4 vanguards, it'll change to week 5 when they update it. They use Korean names so you have to hunt down the alias through TLPD.

to clarify the above guy's post, he means they have been posted there in the past, so to look for them there. i can see saying "they have been posted" being interpreted as this week's lineup, which has not been posted.

It could. Rosters can be updated after week 5.
