I understand what you're trying to say but I think its premature to say it now. You have seen (well not you exactly but some lucky people) 2 missions from the SP and only old units take part in them. We saw upgrades and mutations for existing units, nothing new. Just like in WoL we had upgrades to do.

To me that doesnt mean that you arent going to have some missions in the campaign to search and "capture" new species that will turn out into new units. I believe we should wait and see.

What units are those Adrian? I'm confused how you could even compare units in a game without a food limit and starcraft O.o Sure the motherships cool but its not like how everyone got a Tanya et al

The Marketplace will also eventually include a commerce element that will allow mapmakers to charge a fee for their work. While there will always be a wealth of free content, we believe that allowing content creators to profit from their work will foster an environment for more complex and higher-quality custom maps. Our ultimate hope is that the StarCraft Marketplace will function and thrive in a similar manner as mobile "app-stores" -- tons of free and premium content for players, and a limitless source of entertainment through StarCraft II and Battle.net.


Hmm, interesting.

For HotS, we would like to emphasize the single player experience, to try to get the fact out there that it's not just for the hardcore gamers. For WoL, we emphasized the multiplayer so much that we almost feel like it got labeled as a game only for the hardcore players. So really, this campaign is the area where we can get someone in, and allow someone to even use just their mouse to get through it. It's an opportunity to explore, and there are moments that allow you to just beat another opponent around; it should allow new people to get into the story experience. We're going to add some new multiplayer units, and take out some multiplayer units and we're going to try to make it really great, but a ton of the work is going to go into single player.

This is looking great, i understand the importance of multiplayer, but i honestly loved the Single Player in WoL, and i like that they take SP so seriously, let's hope they improve on it and make it twice as good!

This makes me so excited for Blizzcon! I am seriously optimistic that there will be alot of announcement this year in regards to their various IPs. I mean, it's sort of reasonable as last year was so sparse, can't wait!

Here's hoping they have less tutorial missions. WoLs first 2 missions were easier than cannon rushing like a BOSS and really contributed a disproportionately small amount to the entire campaign. BW had a bit less tutorial more getting straight to it, hopefully they'll replicate that trend.

Not enthused about the marketplace thing. I hate how people think every single game should be monetized in a way like this (quick, buy your Kerrigan hats!).

Also, I'm only slightly embarrassed to say that I'm really, really looking forward to Raynor/Kerrigan resolution.
