Looking through this, I never realised, but MLG seem to run the tournament like crazy people. 2 double elim brackets? Extended Series is still in place? Even the way the qualifiers were organised was nutty. Open qualifiers which lead into an invite qualy... And one qualifier for 8 places. They could at least split it up, like TL do. Otherwise, its one day where all your important players have to be there for, and it apparently happened when players were flying to MLG. Gah, MLG.... So dumb.

All matchup have these points both in broodwar and starcraft 2. Except for SC2 TvZ where all points of the game are zerg favored unless the Terran is currently slaying the Zerg. I can not find a point in the stretch of a game in this matchup that I can work towards that puts me in a FAIR state from wich I can win by making better decisions then my oponent. So I dont even know what to do with the matchup other then constructing all-in builds. Also its not only these small changes that has recently been made, Zerg actually have always been far superior Terrans in the machup when it comes to macro games, its just that Terran have had all this gimmicky ways of winning the game that gave them more then good winrates in the matchup for a while. Obviously with changes to maps and small racial changes we get more good macro games now, wich is good. I like the nerfs to the Terran gimmicky ways of killing zergs, however this is also pushing games into areas where Terran are just completly inferior Zergs and always has been. Terran has a big lack of support units when it comes to the late game wich in generall makes them much weaker, ghosts and ravens both are very bad support units for bio vs zerg. Also you can never reach the 4 base battlecruiser, raven and viking kind of army because of how fast Zerg max out and just start barreling with aggression and expanding while keeping the Terran on the line of losing the game in his own base. Also zerg dont make many unit production structures and often end up with huge banks unless they are good and make a ton of crawlers to defend counter-aggression by medivacs. This together with creep and overlords simply make counter-aggression very hard and almost impossible, at the very least its VERY risky and not very rewarding most of the time due to the crawlers winning time for zergs to react and defend without taking losses. Terrans cant solve this by beeing more greedy early to be in better shape later because you simply can not be that spread out on any maps against a offencive Zerg, youre just not strong enough even in a defensive posture to defend taking expansions in that pace. You can not spread your army thin against zerg and defend alot of bases, you really need perfect possitioning and macro to be able to defend any zerg attacks while youre definding even three bases. Having perfect possitioning is also very hard due to zerg having complete mapcontroll due to terrans inability to fight on creep at all. Sensor towers have the correct mechanics to solve this issue but considering how fast zerg change possitions and angles of attack on the creep it simply isnt enough. Even if you see stuff a few seconds before its comming that is not enough to move sieged tanks into possition. Also it doesnt make sense that zerg is supposed to have full mapcontroll with creep, and also have a unit that works as a game finisher that kinda ends the game when it reaches the opponents base in the brood lord. Usually these kind of units are ment for races that get contained alot and they are supposed to be there to break out of contains, or simply break bases IF you can reach there. To base a matchup upon zergs having complete mapcontroll no matter what, and then also give them a game-ending unit that kinda wins if it reaches oponents base doesnt make any sense. In broodwar we had a similar situation where if defilers with swarm reached a terran base, it was GONE. In broodwar zerg also had mapcontroll because they were fast and mobile (however the defiler wasnt). But that didnt shut the terran out of the map, terrans were able to push over the map and zerg usually had to avoid the terran thats roaming the map and find perfect possitionings with defilers and flanks to eliminate terrans possition on the map, also it usually takes more then one wave and is very cost inefficient. Meanwhile in SC2 ANY terran army on creep is just FOOD for the zerg. So not only do you get to see the terran on the map at all times so that you can manouver your game ending units around the terran easilly without geting intercepted, you can also just eat the terran army with one wave and have a cost efficient engagement with even basic flanking due to creep. Also in broodwar there was irridiate to eliminate defilers.

+ Show Spoiler + I think it's exaggerated, she only got a strong tap on the shoulder from one of the legs, and she could have fallen, because of the weight, but she dodged it fine. She wasn't really physically hurt, wasn't in pain or anything, so she kept laughing.

One of the two, or a third option: Stephano found out she was married, and in a pre finals rage paid that dude to make him kick her when he won. It all went to plan perfectly, right down to Soe escaping at the last minute, but what they didn't count on was that Stephano is as light as a feather, aside from his hair of course, so the kick did nothing and that Lauren would shake it off ezpz. Could be any of them.
