One thing that really bothers me is the color GREEN. I can't stand being the color Green or playing vs it. When someone I play in a custom 1v1 game and they go Green I feel like its harder to see something out of the corner of your eye on he minimap. Like it really makes me mad how much I hate whenever someone selects green. Also when you turn on that option to make your enemies always be red, it makes you green!!!! I HATE THE CHRISTMAS COLORS. Make me blue T_T

I like this, Blizzard should implement this as an option in-game in my opinion.

In addition to helping people distinguish between two players identical units in a mirror match-up, it simply makes the game more visually appealing.

I really like the Probe model with the coloured streak on the top, that looks awesome. I really support this because certain Zerg and Protoss units especially have very little room for team colours on them.

Marauders look a little difficult to distinguish in the MM group, as they seem to be a blob of red in the picture. The rest looks pretty good though, maybe make it optional in the settings?
I put the sexy in dyslexia.

My only complaint is that in some instances it is more difficult to actually see the units. In your pictures on of the battles in the op, there was one with roaches that were really similarly colored to the terrain.

I do think that this could be an option. Not something that will be 100% that you have to play with. It will give some races an inherent advantage depending upon the terrain.

Great work though. Really impressive stuff

The observers were a nice neon display, though I'm most impressed with the coloring of the banelings. This truely would help the game a ton, if only the developers could see this way.

Oh god yes. I hate watching ZvZ and PvP (terran seems to have plenty of colour already) because they just become a sea of brown (ZvZ) or yellow (PvP). I think rather than just upping the alpha of the existing colour - as great as it is being able to actually tell zerglings apart - I would prefer it if Blizz went back and retextured all the units so that the team colour just takes up more of the unit.

definately looks cool, blizz should at least include an option for this in custom games. for those that dont have good eyesight and for the compressed crappy quality streams out there this would really be a benefit. Besides the marines and terran look a lot cooler

This would help in ZvZ alot. I can't really ever tell whats going on in ZvZ when everything is purple/red fighting on purple terrain.

Why do the casters/observers/viewers not have skins/overlays that make the model colors more distinct? I came to SC2 from the CS scene where in the ESL and other tournaments the casters/observers have really nice skins, which clearly designate both sides as well as the names of the competitors. The video is an example of the skins I am referring to.

This is quite awesome! At times it really is tough to make out whats going on. This really feels like the units got a coat of paint on themselves. Love how the probes and banelings loook like little candy bits from a cake or something lol, reminds a bit of war3 though.

some of the units and structures and units look awesome however some of the units seem over coloured specifically the zerglings and marauders. Also the spawning paul with the colour of the liquid being the team colour looks very odd i think it would be better if that was just the standard green with the extra team colour around the edges.

But nice work would help alot and you cant really help over colouring of zerglings as they are so small.

Yeah I really like this, this is not so much a massive problem for 1v1's but in team games it can be a little confusing... but overall I think the units just look better and there is totally no doubt which side they are on...

it also helps highlight all the work that has gone into making the sc2 units and how complex they are... I really like it and hope Blizz impliments something like this :D
