I tried the manual and it still won't work. Install directly into enGB.sc2assets (or koKR, enUS, etc), located in Mods/LibertyMulti.sc2mod folder

I found a way to get it working on my mac. First off, download DropMPQ here: http://www.devklog.net/dropmpq/ Next, download the STC from pzea here: http://www.mediafire.com/?w11tb1i4xydafsc 1) Go to Starcraft II/Mods/Liberty.SC2Mod and find enUS.SC2Assets. Save this file as a backup incase this doesn't work. 2) Unzip STC, and drop it into DropMPQ. It should save it as STC.mpq. 3) Rename STC.mpq to enUS.SC2Assets (make sure the file extension is no longer .mpq). 4) Move your new enUS.SC2Assets to Starcraft II/Mods/Liberty.SC2Mod. This worked for me, so your colours should now be stronger! Many thanks to pzea for this really sweet mod. Feel free to PM me if you need more help, I'll do my best.

Yes everyone can download it, but everyone can download map hack. So that's not a valid argument. In a sense I get what you're saying, this mod does give a slight advantage to the person who has this compared to the opponent who hasn't, but I don't think you can compare this mod to map hacking, the advantage you get from either mod is pretty difference when compared.

I say just play the game without mods, just like the GSL pros

Yeah, being able to see the difference between your own and your opponents units are such a advantage. As a Green/Red color blind player I simply can't play a mirror-match without this mod and is something that should be in the game to begin with. Been using the mod a long time and I really want to thank pzea for taking the time to develop it! It makes ZvZ at least playable :D

I'm not really comparing it, just saying that anyone can download it excuse isn't really that valid. Still breaks the ToS. With any competitive game there should always be a ban on anything that breaks the ToS even in the slightest advantage. Things like MMR Tool that reads memory (breaks ToS) doesn't really give you an advantage and is more or less ok. It makes ZvZ at least playable :D most of us have issues in ZvZ as lings are so tiny, PvP might run into the same issues with zlots, TvT I don't think there should be much if any issues as it's all ranged units. So yes it is such an advantage, If green/red bugs you try blue/red. For casting it's nice helps the viewers see better doesn't give any player an advantage. I'm not saying I'm going to storm the Blizzard HQ with pitchforks and torch in hand I really don't care that much.

I got a feeling this will do nothing to stop cheaters, yet take away more functions from harmless mods like this. Things like MMR Tool that reads memory (breaks ToS) doesn't really give you an advantage and is more or less ok. stop referencing the tos. it's a meaningless document that holds zero authority over the user and what they choose to do with their license. consider the consequences of a mod through discretion and common sense, not hiding behind arbitary token rules that publishers use to intimidate, just because "everyone else does". there's no unfair advantage here, since you could achieve the same effect by manipulating color balance in monitor settings or gpu drivers. what the mod does is implement this in a clean and efficient way, through game assets instead of global settings. also the idea of Browder et. al. "supporting" this is just fan/lip service, nothing more. basically the same as turning a blind eye, they didn't seem to mind rolling out questionable sweeping changes to break neutral asset mods like this, without even a notice or second thought.

No more mods after 1.5.0, and not only Stronger Team Color mod, and it can not be used anymore. Probably later there will be some alternate solutions (like Saturated SC2 mod via Darker diablo 3 dll-injection or something different)

I wanted to hop on to speak to this issue a bit, as it’s certainly something our team cares a good deal about. As some of you may know, we’ve been preparing a big update to StarCraft II (patch 1.5) that will introduce a number of welcomed features to the client -- one of which is the ability for us to stream content updates to the game. This will allow for quicker access to a play session (removing the need to wait for patches to fully complete) and remove the need to repair your client files, as they’ll be constantly kept up to date automatically. One of the unfortunate side effects of streaming is that mods that alter the StarCraft II archive files will no longer function, including color-clarity mods, custom Battle.net background mods, and more. Although these types of archive modifications go against our EULA and can also be used to spread malicious viruses or Trojans, we do understand the merit of many of these features. With the color-clarity issue specifically we actually have a few people on the team who are affected by color-blindness. The development team is looking into options now to support color clarity and customized backgrounds as well as some of the other mod features. We believe that in the long run, it's best for us to provide an option like stronger team colors within the game, as opposed to an externally modded solution that we can't explicitly support. We’ll keep the community updated on our progress and appreciate your continued feedback. http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/forum/topic/6233033364?page=2#23
