First of all the graphics and animations, fonts, logos, ect. all looked very amateur to me. Since I am not a graphics designer, I can't say what they are missing, only that it looks like something I would have designed when I've attempted to dabble in graphics design. They simply lack all the subtle touches that a professional graphics design would show. Second the casters and/or the mics. They were always either talking too softly and then when they would raise their voice it would overload the mic and sound bad, like it was someone talking on ventrillo. Maybe they need better microphones or maybe the casters need to get used to the limited range of the mics they have, maybe a mix of phone. Also dress code, one guy in a t-shirt and one guy in poorly worn tie looks stupid, do one or the other. Observing was bad but people have already covered that.

2.Pay more attention to the in-game tabs that are left up. Frequently during last night's games the income tab was left up, when it wasn't necessary. The production tab should be up at all times. If they need a harvester check, switch quickly in and out of the income tab, or have one of the computers that isn't recording do a quick check like Artosis does. Please make use of some of the new displays as well, like the APM tab when there is a lul in the late game periods. 3. When your budget expands, get a professional observer. Tastosis struggled with this, and the NASL is going to as well. Since the production tab isn't always up, things are missed frequently. Fixing the tab issues isn't going to fix this problem entirely. Many people watch these games to analyze, in fact many paid for VODs to be able to analyze. This tab misuse and observation combo isn't doing them any favors. 4. I can't NOT say this: please deliver on time. It is expected of a new production to have many errors. Even an established professional group like GomTV had their troubles when they started GSL. However not delivering content on time for paying customers is what will create a bad reputation. I want the best for E-sports, and right now that means I demand the best from you. glhf guys, here's to the rest of the season!

When Gretorp got excited the volume levels were almost painful. Please set up a dynamic range compressor.

Releasing replays would help with this analyzing issue. They either don't have the production tab up once they start the match, or sit on the resources/units lost tab for far too long.

![]() it hurts my ears.. edit: and yeah.. if you want to be successful as one of the biggest sc2 leagues you can't let someone cast the games just because you like him as a person or whatever if the rest of the world thinks he's not a good commentator something needs to change there... no one cares if he casts GCPL or something like that..but he's just not good enough for the North American Star League just my 2 cents

It is not moronic. NASL has always marketed their production quality as a key factor to buying a season ticket; so youtube casters don't pose a financial threat to NASL because youtube casters don't have the same production capabilities as the NASL. In the end, NASL still keeps on trucking and entertaining the SC2 fans with a great show, and after watching a cool cast we can go back and dig into the details of the match and improve our play.

Simply put the whole thing seemed very amateur, and I hope it is a work in progress and they are not planning on leaving it as is. It is also bad to have a webpage with a dark background and white text, because that strains the eye more than the other way round. Light background and dark text is much easier to read, but maybe that is on purpose to be in synch with the dark grey studio. Whoever did it should be fired IMO. The logo on the left side of the screen during the games is a really good idea IMO because the bottom right is interesting for the viewer ... to see if units have certain spells or not. Diggity looked 10 times better dressed than Gretorp even though Gretorp had "a jacket". The T-Shirt totally ruins any "seriousness" of the jacket and I didnt really notice the "poorly worn tie". The black jackets also look rather depressing in a dark and depressing grey studio.

If the spectator can see, at all times during the game, what's being produced then there's no element of surprise. Will the colossus come out in time to hold off the timing attack? Will the broodlords spawn soon enough? Exciting moments like these won't exist if we have the timings of these units glaring at us all game long. There's an art to casting a game, such as hiding reinforcements to make the audience feel like an attack is about to end, then suddenly revealing a fresh army to keep the action going. There's a time for every tab to be useful, but production shouldn't have any higher priority than the others.
