There's koreans that can cast in perfect english. I guess Gom rather have the viewers choose than just find someone they like. | ||

She's a nice girl, a nice person. GOMtv is a Professional Organization. Okay, we got that out of the way. Look, it is not a "Rexus", or a "Lexus", but a NEXUS. It's not a "Race-Car" or a "Herron", but a HELLION. Paying customers should NOT have to perform real-time translation while watching a match. Its that simple. I was one of those rooting for Kelly, but come on people, yesterday was worse than ever. With her determination, she will do fine in other ventures, but casting isnt her gig. It just isnt. That is not sexist or racist, or anything accept fact. I wish her well, and I wish GOM had the foresight to have not divided the community in this way in the first place. | ||

I for one am glad that she is leaving GOM as it obviously didn't work out. I wasted far too much time trying to decipher what she was saying that I was missing all of the action happening at the time. That being said she is not getting fired as she was never hired on permanently, GOM is just trying out different casters for Code A and getting a feel for them and how the community reacts to them to get an idea of who they should keep, so keep supporting the Casters for Code A that you enjoy on GOM's forums and keep providing our feedback for the Casters that you do not like but in a professional manner. Should work itself out. | ||

I'm not harping on her accent; English is a hard language to master if it isn't your first... but I wouldn't try to provide commentary for things in French when I only have a very rusty basic ability to speak the language. Why should the rest of the world feel obligated to do that very thing when it's English? | ||

Although it's usually better when an established caster does it, because the audience isn't new to them in general. | ||
