Downloaded replays won't load in SC2

I tried to download replays from GosuGamers.net and sc2win.com, but they won't load in SC2. The replays I download sc2rep.net work, so I'm not sure why other site's replays won't load. I'm downloading the latest replay files, so they should be for the newest patch. Anyone know why the replays won't load or if there is a fix for it?

Also, what are some good replay sites that have pro players, Korean players, and tournament replays?

What extension are the replays you downloaded from gosugamers? Only .SC2Replay files work in SC2. You might of been downloading SC1 replays by mistake. Here's the link to the SC2 replays @ GosuGamers: GosuGamers.net SC2 Replays

I suggest you download the Starcraft 2 GosuNetwork All-Replays tool. It's a program that displays a compilation of popular replay databases and lets you download them straight to your replay folder.

The replays I downloaded from GosuGamers.net and sc2win.com were .SC2Replay exrensions, so it was for the correct game. I'm not sure why replays from those sites aren't working. Thanks for the replays sites though.

I checked out the 3 sites that lysergic gave and only some of the replays work. Most of the replay files won't load in Starcraft 2. Same thing happens with other Starcraft 2 replay sites. Are people uploading replays file from last patch instead of the current patch or am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to make Starcraft 2 load old replays file from older patches? Is anyone else having problems trying to load replay files from Starcraft 2 replay sites? Most of the replays aren't loading and I'm not sure why.

I checked all the replay extensions and they are .SC2Replay files, but they just won't load. Even the new replays files just uploaded won't load. I downloaded the Starcraft 2 client from battle.net instead of installing it from the DVD, but it should be the same right? I'm playing games and watching my own replays just fine, but most of the downloaded replays aren't loading.

Make sure sc2 is closed before you try to open a replay....

I tried what you said TrainFX, but when SC2 starts up from a replay, it gives me a "unable to open replay" error message when I log into Bnet. Only a few replays work, most of them won't load.

try to do the repair.exe this worked for me, i had ur problem too, in the worst case scenario try to reinstall the lastest patch

well FYI, that is the only way to open a replay. Post one of the replays you couldn't get to open plz.

I tried what 3xiLe said and placed the replay files in the SC2 replay directory and it worked, but I still couldn't load the replay without first opening SC2 and going to the replay menu in the game. I then tried what 2GRe-Play- said and used the repair.exe, which fixed the problem. I can now load the replay when Starcraft 2 isn't already open and I can also load it from the replay menu in the game. TrainFX, I got your method to work after I repaired my Starcraft 2 installation files, so replays are working now. Thanks for the help everyone!
