A lower level player named Uniden was involved in an FFA where all the players had to kill each other in alphabetical order. Uniden, being the furthest in the alphabet, was consequently the last one to be attacked. While tons of death, destruction, and action was going on in the other 3/4 of the map, Uniden pretty much chilled in his corner, massing up Stalkers and randomly blinking around. At last, two players were left in the FFA, including Uniden, who was completely unaware that everyone else had died. A base trade resulted where Uniden was left with one proxy pylon left. Uniden and the remaining player engaged in front of the pylon, and though Uniden had the better arc and conclave, he foolishly pulled back for one second and let the opponent's zealots stream in to kill his last remaining pylon. Day[9] was very disappoint. | ||

Is there a reason for that? hm it was mostly because on the metalopis game i felt more safe from zergling counter attack so i was able to see him going roaches with my army instead of waiting for my observer so i felt getting 2 robos might give me a quick win if he just kept making roaches. on xel naga i was kinda worried about him doing some counter attack if i went to far from my base and also had to be prepared for possible mutas until i could scout him so i went more stalker heavy and got upgrades faster to compensate for the lack of damage dealing units | ||

I dun geddit T_T Aside from the daily, later someone on TL actually "trolled"(better word would be nice) another site that was copying GSL qual. results from TL by putting Uniden as qualified for GSL and I think there were some posters at GSL games cheering for Uniden too | ||
