That's not even anyone's concern. The concern is that it is untargetable.

I found another sweet spot.
although....

Usage of this in a tournament would = disqualification right?

Isn't that just a pylon on lower ground? so if you move the camera further north/northeast, you'll see the top of it? or if you rotate the camera?

Yeah it's not a bug like the one in the op, but it's useful because from most natural angles you'll be looking you can't see it, and for whatever reason some players still use alt for health bars. :O

This is interesting, though, like others have said, I don't see many actual uses. Maybe Pylon on high ground, then drop a probe over rocks to put down a hidden dark shrine? The fact it can be seen on the mini map and A-move killed, kind of makes it not as cool.
Though, since this seems to be some sort of map building issue or something, I think it is safe to say that there may be more of these things on other maps. Let the searching commence.

so what happens when people lose there entire base/army and hide a pylon there?

You scout, see the pylon on the minimap, A-move near it, win.

From the posts of people who CAN see it, perhaps somehow having graphics settings is the difference? I noticed of those who said yes and posted graphics settings, they were both on low.

Awesome find. More stuff for blizz to patch.....

Also someone posted a stream the other day where they found the pylon.
It's not invisible, it's just way below the the ground. If you scroll down to a certain point you can actually see it really far away, and even click on it.

nice find
i'll try it if i ever get the chance

Well now they removed the entire map from the map pool
|
lol fail patching, if its because of the bug :D i love that map
|
Yea maps been pulled from the pool. Prolly because of this. Hopefully it will be back. I doubt they'll scrap the whole map. Especially since is has a reputation for epic games.

It saddens me how blizzard just removed the map instead of shutting down the servers without hesitating to tell the people for a whil trying to fix it

Wait wait wait....you'd rather them SHUT DOWN BATTLE NET instead of pulling a single map off the ladder?
You boggle my mind.
