Why do people think Hydras are "SOOO SLOOWWW OMGGG" they move the same "normal" 2.25 off creep as many many other units. Their DPS is insane, if they were any faster it'd break the game. Their speed on creep is ridiculous too


Their size makes them unwieldy. That coupled with their speed doesn't help. Think of the Immortal. Now imagine ten of them. It's a similar situation, except that there would be even more Hydralisks.

Dislike the fungal change.
I dont see any sense in it.
Neural parasite is pretty useless as it is.
Now that fungal doesnt hit air means infested marines will be never seen again either.

We will see the already popular phoenix opening vs zerg and zerg will be forced to get hydras. And P will get colossus.
Corrupter or Hydras could will need a change now. Oh and ofc NP and infested terrans have to be adjusted IF they want to see infestors being played at all.

I'm a bit confused about fungal growth not affecting air units...

Is Warp Prism not an air unit? It says it won't be able to support protoss buildings if fungal growthed.

Wouldn't that be impossible anyway? o-O;

Well.. Everything seems okays cept' the fungal growth thing and the Void Ray upgrade. The least they could've done for Voidray was give it just an additional speed boost as it was. No idea what happened to Fungal Growth....

Fungal Growth cant hit air? never realized a problem with the infestors stopping air units... i dont get it, and Im not looking forward to this patch IMO other than the chats... But still it dont seem like they made the changes i think are needed...

No fix to T late game is a sad sad issue. Here goes another copuple months of terrible gimmicky play trying to desperately end the game in under 10 minutes.

I feel so bad for Z's that they are removing the hol down key. Massing games as Z is going to make you sore lol, I can remeber playing Z before I knew about holding down the key and the amount of keyboard spamming I had to do was ridiclous.

To the people implying that this the patch notes are not retail and thusly subject to change this is the same logic as THIS IS BETA111 people during the beta.

If you follow the blizzard patching logic brought over from wow PTR notes are usually final. Do not expect them to change.

Sure, if they can hit them. Which means the phoenix need to get within range.

Trouble is, the corruptors need to stay in the right place to defend overlords. And phoenix are faster than corruptors, so you can just fly around to where corruptors aren't. And if the Zerg makes lots of them to defend everything, you can just make a unit they can't hit, like... anything.

Protoss structures can no longer be powered without a power source if constructed while powered by a Warp Prism under the effects of Neural Parasite.


Wait? Warp-prisms can power up buildings? How did I not know that? Soo I can drop a probe with prism, start building both pylon + cannons AT THE SAME TIME and just leave, whole process taking ~5 seconds?

Nice, even tho not revolutionary. I guess power of that is that enemy may not notice until cannons are ready thanks to no attack messages. *starts plotting stuff*

It was Neural Parasite that affected the Warp Prism. If that's not what you mean, others have theorized and/or supported that the Fungal Growth nerf was a result of some interaction between it and Void Rays.

these chat channels are the worst goddamn thing ever right now

i can send 3 lines before having to wait 2 minutes before i can send more messages

sure makes it easy to carry a conversation when everyone is forced to pause after a few lines, to actually get anything out of it you're going to have to transmit a paragraphs worth of text for each line

Because you dont see the big picture. Corrupters are useless once P does backtech or techs to anything else. Thats why nobody plays them and Mutas were so famous in that matchup for a long time...

No, they don't want you to use phoenixes more, they are trying to balance the game not tell you how to play.


They aren't mutually exclusive. If one unit is being underused, Blizzard has explicitly stated they will find tries to make it be useful.
