Does it really not make you feel silly to post things like this only an hour after it came out? Considering the fact that most balance changes can't be fully ironed out and understood for at least a week or so, it makes you come off as quite childish.

I'm kinda disappointed how the chat channels look like.

They're basically a glorified version of the chat windows we had before. And it really took over half a year to do this?

I expected something more "classic" in terms of chat channels. But as long as they do their job, I'm satisfied.

Being able to be in multiple chat channels is nice though, compared to bnet 1.0.

Liking the patch because it buffs P obviously, but I think it's in the right places. Hallucination is now more viable early game, observers make the cost of defending banshees a little lower, phoenixes make mutaling less of a staple option, and the FG nerf could bring back those air-colossi builds, which is always fun.

Also, SCV priority's been # issue since the beta IMO, glad it was made proper.

I'm guessing PvP will quickly turn into an air matchup with maybe a few colossi since vrs counter colossus now and phoenix counters vrs.

of course phoenices will be great against Z too, and VRs counter thors better now.

Protoss = air race? how fun!

If you watch game 1 of the GSL between Julyzerg and ogsMC you'll see that mc went phoenix + void ray first game and july switch to corrupters to shut down toss air. he then went hydra + roach and had like 6 corrupters denying collosi

I like how every single balance change, in every single patch, ever, is designed to force terran into even more linear bio-style gameplay. Buffing Void Rays and Phoenixes is pretty much the nail in the coffin for mech or air tvp. Truly sad.

Fungal no longer hitting air suits me very well, but it's a fucking retarded change. All of the 'balance' changes are fucking ludicrious, tbh. Hope the channels are worth the game being slightly shittier.
You can figure out the other half.

Why? Zerg goes air it forces toss into certain builds (blink stalk, phoenix). So because now you can't stop an entire air army with 1 unit the race is fucked? I think you should consider that in this game choices must be made and you can react with corruptors, hydras, queens, spores, etc.

It's like complaining because toss has to get a robo bay against terran in case he goes banshees, it's not fucked up - it's just a mechanic of the game.

Personally I think all the changes are good, except for the bunker change (which may not be implemented) and the FG change. The FG change is just dumb and unnecessary, kind of like the DT nerf back in beta. Protoss player here.

Argh I'm not looking forward to this...

Can't use infestors to stop drops and banshee harass anymore, and fast phoenix to colossus will be even more stronger... bleh. Make hydras viable for tvz plz.....
