It is great news that a cooperation agreement between Chinese e-Sports Team WE and Korean StarCraft II Team Prime has been made. Team WE's Chinese SC2 players Loner and Luffy will stay in Korea with their Team Prime mates, practice for the coming GSL2011 and other tournaments.
The two esports teams, Team WE and Team Prime, maintain a good relationship. Team Prime's leading players, DayFly[Pooh] and Check[Pooh] were members when Team WE's WarCraft3 squad was founded in 2005. The team won almost all the famous tournaments and leagues in WarCraft3 with its Chinese and Korean players.

Team WE Manager King says: I am very happy to see the cooperation between Team WE and Team Prime, it is significant for us and for promoting SC2 as an e-Sports game in China. When WarCraft3 became popular, Team WE recruited some Korean talents very early and now Team WE decided to send Chinese players to stay in Korea to practice. Korea makes a great sucessful eSports mode in SC:BW which is we need to learn from, and at first I hope the Chinese players in Korea can make progress in both psychology and skills. Team WE will select more talent players to go abroad, providing them better conditions. All in all, thans a lot to our Team Prime friends, wish we will make make progress together in SC2. Fighting! WE.Prime
Team WE SC2 Squad Leader Edison says: I am glad to tell you that a cooperation agreement between Chinese e-Sports Team WE and Korean StarCraft II Team Prime has been made. Our players and I love Team Prime's house very much, though we stay here only for several days. Loner and Luffy practise a lot with HongUn, Check, MarineKing and Maka, and get better shapes now. We will also take part in homeland's SC2 tournaments while live in Korea. I must say thank you to the fans who are supporting us, to our sponsor GIGABYTE, i-rocks and Kappa, and to Prime Clan. Fighting! WE.Prime
Team Prime Coach Gerrard says: I’m very pleased our team Prime can cooperate with Chinese e-sports team WE. Especially, Loner and Luffy have been close to our player from the time of SC2 beta and every member is very happy to stay together. With this chance, Prime and WE will be able to be more powerful. I’m so grateful to the friends of Team WE for this cooperation. And I hope this cooperation makes both teams be the world’s best teams in the future, keeping good relationships. Fighting Prime.WE!

Looks like oGs-Liquid has a rival in Prime.WE.
It is really good to see Korean teams reach out for foreigners.
Awesome news! It's always great to hear foreigners partnering with Koreans to grow the Starcraft 2 eSports scene. China will be watching.
Prime.WE vs oGs-TL gogo!
Wow! Gratz to WE. Luffy and Loner are sure to benefit a lot from this. So many foreigners in Korea! I love it! ;D
great! looks very promising of a trend of allegiance .. oGs-TL vs Prime-We is going to be great in GSL CW's...
I'm curious, are they using English to communicate or did they find/hire a Korean-Chinese translator?
It seems like the Chinese/Taiwanese scene is more distant from the global scene than the Korean community. Steps like these help integrate the Chinese community into the global scene, as well as players like Sen. With the population of China I think it's pretty important we continue to bridge the gaps.
WHOA... This is rather unexpected, but cool nonetheless. We got a lot of teams combining forces now: oGs-TL, Prime-WE, and Zenex.
MarineKingPrime, is that Foxer?
AnyPro totally ruined the photo by smiling!
Seriously though, yay for more foreign support! Very happy for team China. :D

Afaik it's more common that Korean/Chinese/Japanese people know the other languages (out of the 3) compared them knowing English. I know a lot of Koreans who can speak good Japanese. And some Chinese who know better Korean than English.
And the news itself is awesome The more (foreigners) - the merrier

Excellent news! WE have always been one of my favourite teams since 4 years back. Fighting~~! And WE.King is an awesome team manager! Just had to through that in there.
Always cool to hear about this kind of thing, but now some of their names are too long.. ]:

Cool news. I do wonder if they did this because sponsors don't want to sponsor a team alone.
MarineKing- He went for the Korean name.

yay great news :D i always get so happy when teams work together like that ^____^ weeee

Nice, this trend of foreign players latching onto Korean teams is really good for the foreign scene. It's definitely the best possible solution for maintaining the skill required to stay competitive in Korea.
Glad to see all these new collaborations. Definitely gives high hopes for SC2's international success!
DayFlyPrime o_0.
Would be interesting to see his games. Did he participate in the GSL3 qualifiers? He was one of the earliest orc innovators in wc3.
So... we got...
Korea - International oGs - TeamLiquid Prime - WorldElite StarTale - vT (it counts)
Wonder if ZeNex, IM, and TSL gonna start jump on the bandwagon. eG, fNatics, RooT, I hope you guys are sending out feelers!
Sen is already borrowing IM's computer, why not make it official? http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=170834#20

Awesome sauce! I do wish there are more foreign teams.... It is suppose to be 'global'. i will be interested in seeing some Loner and FoxeR games since they both use marines quiet intensly. Marines vs marines? Sounds like musket lines again.
It's so, so awesome to see SC2 developing these international bridges while young. I got the impression during Broodwar that it was very much "outside looking in" when it came to foreigners viewing the Korean scene. I'm glad that the SC2 professional scene is heading in an inclusive direction.
D; needs to delete his replays off that computer if he wins tonight... he'll have to play zergbong in ro32
Good call on the joining up, both teams will benefit a lot.
Loner is quite impressive in his play until he gets schooled by the Emperor in TvT...
pretty awesome to see more team that is non-korean coming into korea to train with koreans, hopefully this trend will continue! Russian/Ukrainian teams coming in next?
That's some great news, I hope that more foreigners stay in korea for a loooong time!
It's nice to know teams are uniting for the greater good of eSports!
Sen will probably practice with them too no?
MEANING IT COULD BE WE.Prime.MSI!!!!! lol
Although it makes their nicknames a bit clumbsy, this is still great news. Korea getting more "foreighned" is good for eSports as a whole in my opinion, the chinese players obviously profit from this but also the koreans, as well PR wise as skillwise. WE was super strong in wc3 with first unknown players so they bring in a good amount of experience in forming really strong teams of chinese and korean players and scouting talents.

Team WE's Chinese SC2 players Loner and Luffy will stay in Korea with their Team Prime mates, practice for the coming GSL2011 and other tournaments. they have monkey mascots!? and they get to live with them?!? im so jealous.

Sen is from Taiwan. The political situation is a messy one, but suffice to say that he's not gonna be working with WE. According to Sen's facebook, he's housed at a gomtv employee's apartment and practicing on IM's computer room.
Sen: Calm down everyone! After qualifying, I decided to stay put at Korea, and was arranged by board at a (korean) GomTV friend's place. Unfortunately he doesn't speak English or Mandarin (T/N: Chinese), luckly we can still gesture at each other =.= Somehow.
Coincidentally, the IM (Nestea's) team is located right in this building. They even lend me a computer to pratice on! nice!! Unforunately, no one speaks Mandarin (T/N: Chinese) or English: the only thing they understand is when they ask me "hungry?" and nothings else. =__= What tragedy! In the past couple days, I been occupying this computer about ten hours-a-day, my korean account is up to 2600 points. Time flies and there's only two days left, hopefully it won't end in tragedy

Somehow westerners think that China and Taiwan are like North Korea and South Korea.
China and Taiwan are actually VERY close. There is close cooperation in many different fields, especially culturally. Sen was actually on Duskbin which is filled with Chinese players AND he was on the CHINESE Allstar team in the clan war against Prime.

why do they always have so odd names? MarineKing ???? Hotmail? seriously?
