Boxer isn't even the full name, it's Slayers_Boxer which realBoxer already has. You're all talking like taking a name that the Boxer or Slayers name are sacred and aren't allowed by anyone other than the Emperor himself. Get a hold of yourself people, think what realBoxer would be thinking. "Here is a young and very talented Terran player who is naming himself after me because I am his biggest idol. How should I feel? I know! I must be angry because he is insulting me! How dare he take what can only be used by me!!!" But I'm getting nowhere. When the Emperor himself doesn't care but fanboys do......then you know you're not going to be able to say anything that will make them think differently | ||

for disappointing the people who supported him and after saying he'll change his name to whatever his fans wanted him to change it to... Hey I want boxer to play Protoss but we can't all get our way. I think people are getting a bit too fanatical about a simple name change. If Slayers_boxer really wanted his old ID back I'm sure he can just ask Boxer for it, and I'm sure Boxer will agree since Slayers_Boxer is his hero and everything. But if the real guy isn't making a huge deal about it (which only adds to my respect for him), why are so many fans raging over it? Of course we can all just blame Blizzard for not retiring Boxer's Jersey right? | ||

Has nothing to do with insulting the real boxer (while it is insulting, it's not worth caring about), and everything to do with how utterly stupid it is to maintain an imitation name when you're trying legitimize yourself as a recognizable progamer. It's just lame, period. | ||
