top 2% is 1700+
im expecting top 5% to be 1500ish
go calculate 5% of 44k
and check random ladder players

I actually like the league names ;d, btw that's the same thing what they did for warcraft 3, each season you have top 200 goes to special ladder, playing only other players in that league with out mmr, so that's means almost instant games. Top 100 at the end of season will be automatically invited to league once again, while new top 100 will replace the old top 100-200.
It will be interesting to see how everything will evolve

If it's supposed to be just a league above Diamond then 2% seems fine. If it's supposed to be a "pro league" then I'd say make it top 100.

Seems like how they described it that it will be easier to stalk the higher level players because anybody can view the GM league. They also talked about featured matches which is interesting, but I would think would suck for those who want to keep their strategy secret. I suppose that's why those build order hider maps are out, but I can see being in GM league being a bad thing for privacy not just a status symbol.

If they had never removed the Copper League, then they wouldn't have to include both the Masters AND Grandmaster's League -.-' Everything would just shift up one and the *new* leagues would be Diamond and Master's.
