keep it simple and straight to the point..
main thing we should be interested in about is the size of this league and will these guys be matched against each other or will it work same as right now where top plat get matched against diamond and etc...

Sounds like there preparing for the weekly high level tournaments blizzards been promising for all this while.
If your in the GM league, then you can play in the multi region tournament, easy enough.

There isnt a proleague for sc2, and i doubt most sc2 players even know what Proleague is, also the icon will probably be a picture of incontrol of course

Why? There are enough bad players in the top 100 who have 1 build per matchup. 100 is the right amount to keep pro players with the incentive to actually ladder, and keep the hopefuls ready to fight.

Its not going to affect 95% of SC2 players they should have one with like top 30% thats like for people who are competitive but not dedicated all the way.

personally I would like to tell ppl I am in the "grand master league" (although I wont ever be) but that sounds way cooler than just "pro league". I might start playing again to get into master league at least though...

They actually have implemented a system where the top 30% are separated. Beyond that they are separated even further into two leagues they call "Diamond" and "Platinum".

Announced at Blizzcon today.

Grand Master League will be top 200 per region
Master League will be top x% from Diamond. ( Said something about 3ish% but I'm not sure ).

I would hate for it to be called "Pro League" as some people have been suggesting. If someone says they are 'pro' at a game it should be short for 'professional'. In my opinion it should be mean gaming is your profession, not just "you're really good at it".
