How did it happen, you ask? Surely, he must have lowered his depots and forgot to raise them back up. Wrong! He walled off a random section of cliff. His ramp was completely open. We lost. I cried with laughter. | ||

Well, i had a quick look, couldnt find the replay. If i ever come across it ill post it. Anyway, last night playing 4v4, my 2 helpful zerg allies start the game by saying rush. I explain that we were both doing the griffith 4 0C build so a rush wouldn't really be an option for us. They then call us noobs for not rushing, and say that rushing is the only way do win in this game. Anyway, they proceed to 6pool. Their first lings are up, they decide not to combine forces and instead attack at different points. Ok rush failed, time to transition. Not for these guys though. They spend the next 35 mins of the game suiciding groups of zerglings, all the while berating me and my mate for their failed rush (it was all our fault you see). We lost in the end, but would have been a much closer match, if they'd only transitioned. Another 4v4, this time on megaton. I spawn on the inside position (furthest from ramps), and because im doing the 4oc build end up taking my first expansion at around 3.55/4.00. place the CC, then go back to my base. Fanny about there for 30 seconds, then go back to the expansion, but its not there anymore, theres a hatchery in its place. "mate why you destroy my cc?" "That will teach you to take my expansion". Never mind that there arnt set naturals on that map, and only one nat had been taken (ie 2 others, right next to the cc he destroyed). Fucking team games, i enjoy them, i just hate the people i play with | ||

4 v 4. First teamate 6 pools, fails pretty hardcore...goes afk. Second teamate expands, suicides all his units in to the enemy base, and when their answer comes knocking at his base, he gets his base raped, while I struggle to protect him. His last group of units he again suicides, then he rage quits, saying we won't help him attack. Third Teamate actually seems really competent, up to the point where he converted 40 of his drones into static defense(to "protect his tech"), asks me for mins to build drones(i give him 1k mins), and then is basically worthless the rest of the game. He did mostly knock out one opponent early though, so I give him that. Fortunately I'm a f'ing beast, and basically win 1 v 3.5. At one point in the game, I'm 3 basing as protoss vs 3 protoss, all with at least two bases. Fortunately, one decided to go mass voids/carrier/mothership vs my blink stalkers, the other went pure gateway with zero upgrades, and the other went gateway/collossi, but he really sucked, and I don't even know what really happened to him. They basically mined out their entire side of the map. I thought I had lost the game up until the point of my final push, when I suddenly realized I was taking all their tech out, and they had no units to answer with. Oh, and them expo-ing to my allies nat, because everything else was mined out. | ||

All the nearby mineral patches are the one for the people playing at the ramp and the one further away is for the player, who has a safer main base by being in the back of everybody. thats just fair that you take the riskier expansion. and I always (even if i play AT) kill the expansion of my ally which take my natural.. dont be too greedy or deal with it (getting your expand killed). Ontopic: Played a random 2on2 some time ago. We are Z (me) P (ally) versus PP. I scout that they are going for doubel 4gate and tell my ally to get a 4gate as well. When the push came, I had like 25ish roaches. My opponents had (together) like 18ish stalker, 4-5 Zealots and some sentries. My ally just build 2 Stalker, 1 Zealot and 1 Immortal (he ended up going for 2gate FE into late robo ...) was pretty pissed, so I left with "yea, got like the biggest noob ally in the world"... after this I played another 2on2 with getting the SAME ally (this time as a zerg). knewing he was bad, I choosed to go for an insane macrobuild. just as my unitproduction kicks in, our opponents attack, i tell him "just kite, will have TONS of unit in a sec", he ended up losing all his zerglings and his fastexpansion... proceeded to go mutas on 1 base ... I just mass roaches and kill both of the opponents with my far superior economy the funniest thing was the convo at the start of the second game: me: "god matchmaking hates me" him: "me too" me: "why? you get better allies then you are" him: "you are bad" he was platinum with negative stats and like 1,5k in 2on2 and about 700 games (i am ~70% winrate 2on2 diamond 300 games), was pretty lol tbh^^ | ||

2 of the guys get the amazing idea to go for planetary fortress rushes and the third guy says hes gna tech straight to ultralisks at that point i just gave up and went for a planetary fortress rush as well turns out those units dont fare well against void rays  | ||

Mine would be 4v4. Terran team mate walling off and locking me and my lings inside the base whilst he the other team pick off my other allies. I kept pinging or asking for shared control but he was trolling or didn't get what I meant. I had to attack his buildings to escape in the end... just in time to get roflstomped by the opposition. | ||

he (P) walled-in like an idiot until our opponents came with voidrays, and of course he had like zero anti-air. i wanted to help out, but because of his stupid wall-in, i couldnt get up the ramp. so i destroyed one of his gateways to come through -- i also could just attacked the pylon to get up, but since that was such a stupid game, screw it. i even managed to win that game. | ||

You always kill your allies expansion? Even in arranged team games? I'll tell you straight, i'm thinking some evil stuff about you right now. I take you dont have many people who want to play team games with you. I dont understand your mentality in the slightest | ||
