Storm owns terran bio so hard its not even funny anymore. on the patch changes: The balance should improve, but i dislike how they remove whole aspects of the game.

QFT, I still do a forge fast expand when I see a Z player early expanding as well. It's def a viable strategy. And although it sucks that T lost their main form of cheese, it is still an important part of the game in tournaments. I always get so excited in a Bo5 or something when someone tries to throw their opponent with a cannon rush or something. Keeps everyone on their toes.

Terran has zero fast cheese builds now. While people hate cheese it is part of the game. If someone decides to 6/7/8 rax a Zerg because I don't feel like a long drawn out fight that's their prerogative.

It removes alot of strats out of the game, its not a small thing. Maybe for someone who is extremely narrow minded and is only looking at it as something that will make him win more games beacuse they can't deal with these strats. It hurts the variety and dynamics of a STRATEGY game. I made a longer post about it here: http://eu.battle.net/sc2/en/forum/topic/708342318

PROTOSS Buildings -Nexus life and shields increased from 750/750 to 1000/1000. Void Ray -Damage level 1 increased from 5 to 6 (+4 armored). -Damage level 2 decreased from 10 (+15 armored) to 8 (+8 armored). Void rays were a little too good perhaps, but this was a little much imo. Maybe 10+10 armored. -Flux Vanes speed upgrade bonus decreased from 1.125 to 0.703. This I think is bad. Don't know why they would do this. This will just make void rays worse late game, and they're not very good already. Not sure what they were getting at. TERRAN Buildings -Barracks requirement changed from Command Center to Supply Depot. As a zerg player, I'm not sure about this. As much as I like to go hatch first, I'm always for allowing your opponent punish someone that is being too economic. I'm not sure how the timing will work out, but my initial response is not so good. Needs to be tested. -Supply Depot life increased from 350 to 400. Medivac -Acceleration reduced from 2.315 to 2.25. -Speed reduced from 2.75 to 2.5. A slight medivac nerf can't really be a bad thing. Reaper -Nitro Packs speed upgrade now has a Factory Requirement. This is lol. People never build repears after factory. There is no way they're gonna research speed then. This kinda kills 3/5 reaper vs. zerg which was already not too big of a problem. I hate to say that a strategy is dead before testing it, but I seriously don't see how this can work. Thor -Energy bar removed. -250mm Strike Cannons is now cooldown-based on a 50-second cooldown. Ability starts with cooldown available (useable immediately after upgrade is researched). This is good. Like the corrupter, it only had energy so it could be feedbacked. ZERG Buildings -Hatchery life increased from 1250 to 1500. -Lair life increased from 1800 to 2000. -Spawning Pool life increased from 750 to 1000. -Spire life increased from 600 to 850. -Ultralisk Cavern life increased from 600 to 850. I think these hp changes are all good. Same goes with the nexus and the supply depot. Corruptor -Energy bar removed. -Corruption is now cooldown-based on a 45-second cooldown. Ability starts with cooldown expired (must wait for full 45-second cycle before usable). See thor Infestor -Fungal Growth now prevents Blink. I am opposed to this. While blink may be too good in it's current form, they should add a way that creep can be spread offensively, not nerf blink. Roach -Range increased from 3 to 4. Roaches after all the beta nerfs did need a buff. This will make them better at defending harass (also further killing the 3/5 reaper strategy) and will make them better late game, particularly against protoss and force field. I think this is a good change, but I definitely need to test it to be sure.

Personally I think Terran needs a nerf, but not like it is done with this patch. And I guess most people (also many non-Terrans) don't like how Blizzard removed many early game options for Terran players.

Not true, you can still depot rax very quickly, quickly enough to off-bunker an early hatch no problem.

They just have their useless abilites and tons of energy which makes them so vulnerable to feedback. Feedback should be used on infestors & ghosts who are the real casters. I think that's very good move by Blizz.

It went from 25dps to armored to 16dps to armored. Moreover, most of the dps lost came from the bonus against armored. And now, you remove energy on thors and corruptors? no feedback? really bliz? In addition, the reaper change is ridiculous. I'm a protoss player and I am against that change. Roach buff I'm ok with, but a fail patch in general. kind of agree, zerg is going to be unharassable fort now, no idea how terran will compete with Z macro lategame

-Supply depot requirement for Barracks, why not, proxies are stupid, but then it will be harder to defend from a photon rush... not that much but still. -Thors, yay!!! Thats a real change, ill start using them in TvP! :p -Protoss and Zerg buildings have more health: need and expected. -VR nerf: YOUUUHOUUUU, I will have decent stats vs Protoss now as I am loosing almost only to VR's. -Roaches ranges upgrades: good change imo, not gonna change that much but seems like a fair change. Overall a very good patch I think. GG Blizzard

Good thing VRs only cost 50 minerals right? Too bad marines don't fly, have 250hp and 1 armor.

Good thing VRs only cost 50 minerals right? VRs damage is applied every .6 seconds... its more dps than a marine, but yea the unit costs about 8 times more not counting the gas being worth more. I think maybe they will look into changing the time it takes to charge them, but who knows.
