dot dot dot dee dot dot dot....because then we get to see how players react in (relatively) real time. From an entertainment standpoint it's way better.

The harass is good, and they seem nice as support units, forcing constant scans because they have such beastly damage. I agree, I won with them against another toss the other day cause I fell behind on colossi count... made 1 round of all DT, and just sent them right for his colossi and sniped them all before he could get a 2nd obs out get his obs back from wherever to his army.

Protoss has been nerfed to shit so often, not that im surprised, but this is fucking retarded. No reason to really get void rays anymore. 45dps for a 3 food unit is rather excessive.

All these they don't get the +4 at uncharged so only recieve a 16 percent buff uncharged while taking a 20 percent nerf charged. And seeing as how good toss use is to make sure they are charged close to 100 percent of the time it means a 20 percent nerf against light and a 36 percent nerf against armored.

Now that roaches are buffed more people are going to get range upgrades, and if you have the range upgrades in the first place, then the extra investment in hydras may be worth it. God I am so glad Zerg got some love at last, and that i stuck with the race.

Cant believe we cant feedback thors now Not just that, I think the damage reduction is too much for this kind of expensive unit. I can't believe they reduced it from 25 to 16, that's more than 30 per cent. (36 to be exact.) It makes me think that the price should go down to 200/150. I do like a lot of the other changes. I wonder however, if removing energy from so many units doesn't devalue High Templar a little bit. However, it might give people a little more incentive to make Thors. Corruptors, I feel, are very often neglected, whether that is rightfully so or not.

This encourages use of the VR as a standard unit rather than with a gimmick rush or somesuch. Which is dumb because Void Ray charging was one of the coolest things in the game. Nobody should want VR to be used as a standard unit. It'd be just another unit to attack move rather than a unit that requires unique micro/preparation/tactics.

Your SCV's can surround the lings off a 6 pool and kill them with maybe losing 2-3 most of the time. After you stop his first 6 pool attack you have pretty much won since it sets them back pretty far... Yeah even i stopped walling against zerg unless i FE. A bunker is good enough to hold until you get rauders to tank blings or hellions to kite

I have no idea. P's anti-air is fairly weak right now. Phoenix has their place, but it's more of a hybrid anti-air and harassment tool than strictly anti-air.

For the moment, screw the changes -- I'm just happy that Blizzard put this patch out as fast as they did. I'm incredibly glad that they're willing to push out balance changes as soon as they're happy with them rather than waiting for the next huge content. And now, for the changes. Even as a Zerg player, I still think requiring depot before rax is a dumb choice. I think it's bad for the game in general if options and playstyles are completely thrown off the table instead of nerfed slightly. I would've rather seen maybe a (very) slight increase in barracks and/or tech lab build time. <3 roach range increase, I can't wait to play with it. Void rays got hit with the nerf bat way hard. I'm undecided whether or not it's too hard. I think a cost decrease might be appropriate along with these changes. I'm interested in how the damage buff for level 1 works out, but I don't think it'll make much difference in the long run. The really good players were able to keep them charged up pretty much all the time. Maybe the purpose is to make it harder to hit level 2 at all (as stuff dies faster when hit with level 1)? I do think flux veins were absolutely ridiculous, and I'm surprised that the upgrade wasn't completely abused all the time by higher level players. With proper micro it basically made void rays invincible.
