Starting the bandwagon of protoss players jumping ship. This is a retarded patch, nerfing voids and HT's (cant feedback thors? stupid)
Why the hell would you want to build a void ray now? The main purpose of them is to get that Charge, which does awesome damage.. They suck in the precharging stage, and thats how it was balanced. Now, voidrays are just total garbage all around.
I would of took a banshee anyday prepatch over a voidray, now its even more of a joke.

Is the patch live on US servers?

I have no idea. P's anti-air is fairly weak right now. Phoenix has their place, but it's more of a hybrid anti-air and harassment tool than strictly anti-air. Protoss is inherently ahead when u build corruports because u waste a lot of supply on a unit that is only good for dealing with collosus. Watch nexgenius reps, protoss will be fine for sure.
And carriers but when do you see those outside of huk playing...

How is widening the scope of a unit past one allin strategy making the game less unique in micro/prep/tactics by micro you a click your pylon and my prep u mean making a proxy plyon and by tactics u mean roflstomping even the counters to the unit all the while ruining FFA/Team games/Melee UMS
ATLEAST test the unit before you complain (freaking sc1 players had it ez compared to wc3...)

Really liking the new Thor buff which pretty much compensates for any medivac/supply before rax nerf <3 though not sure how VRs will be used anymore.

Yea and empd immortals go down in 4 shots, (3 with any upgrades), as well as 250mm if the terran player sees the toss is responding with immortals. Don't even talk about scvs.

I love different opinions. Blizzard takes too long to patch. Now they are too fast. LOL. Anyways. A common misconception is Blizzard doesnt know what they are doing. Statistics show they know what they are doing. I believe Day9 really nullifies all the complaining and what not.

You claim blizzard is being slow w/ patching, that patching Starcraft was easy so, therefore, SC2 should be easy.
However, you present the fact that the major changes happened 6months+ after the game release, including the 4/18/01 Starcraft patch (3 years after release). I played Starcraft and Starcraft:Broodwar hardcore from the day they came out. 1.04 and 1.08 changed gigantic aspects of the game that deeply affected the way people played the game. They were awesome!
The length of time it took to balance Starcraft: Broodwar is EXACTLY why I'm not concerned about SC2 at this point. Starcraft 2 has been out for 2 months. I wouldn't be surprised if a gigantic balance patch came out 6-8 months after release.

I don't want to be that guy, but... they nerfed a fleet beacon upgrade?

Patch just went live on USA. Got a notice and am downloading it now.

I do honestly propose that we can all have congruent opinions that the modifications held within the newest game patch will have some serious implications on the starcraft 2 metagame.

Some folks sure are up in arms about the toss nerf. Considering the fact that blizz said TvP was a problem for T, I cant say its terribly surprising.

That would actually be amazingly cool if the replaced the cannon upgrade with a jet pack.
Probably horribly imbalanced but cool nonetheless.

Voidray nerf? WHAT?
I seriously do not understand why they did that. I endorse the zerg upgrades, sure, but voidray nerf?! That was one of the only units that required skill to actually accumulate damage with.
To anyone argueing the 'insane damage' of it because you dont have AA, banshees have insane damage too, and require AA and detection.
Seems like a really really silly nerf.

Terran least mobile race... So let's make them even more immobile!
|
rofl Protoss has gotten nerfed in EVERY single patch since beta, and no buffs that I remember (outside of a stalker buff the very first patch)..
Blizzard are seriously retarded and listen too much to the whining terran newbs.

Well I for one am glad about the building buff. I don't know if it'll be enough, but it's definitely the right direction. Just have to see how it plays out. Obviously one doesn't want to hammer away forever on a building. Drops should be powerful, but not so powerful that it's impossible to defend. Hopefully this will increase the dynamics between drop play- move and countermove rather than drop, haha, your base is gone.
Taking down hatcheries and spawning pool actually took a decent length of time in BW unless you had a ton of tanks, which would obviously kill it. I'm hoping that this will be similar.

Wow reapers are totally useless now

Wootcity. I bet the guys on the balance team felt like assholes after the last patch when everyone told them they were stupid. Obviously there are still people telling them that, but as far as I can tell its far far less
Good job Blizzard! You know whats up!
