Personally, I think there is nothing wrong with alternative input devices so long as the 1 button - 1 action rule is used.

http://www.tomshardware.com/news/StarCraft-II-Daniel-Hellerman-iOS-iPad-sc2,11196.html I can't imagine playing at any speed with a device that didn't give tactile feedback though.

I also use a G15 keyboard but find the G keys useless since macros = cheating and there is no real need to remap anything to them since using regular keys is easier for the keyboard hand on a grid layout.

Stick with what you know and use and are comfortable with. Heck, I use a laptop mouse now because my old one died and I've gotten quite comfortable with this one.

That guy should learn how to search for Products on the internet ! =) This mouse cost like $10 in any computer shop. And indeed newer Devices won't do the BuildOrders instead of you either ! They just give like +20% to your APM (If it really feels better for you, than the one you used before)

After reading I just wanted to respond to this. I would not call my Filco brown switch keyboard or my Xai mouse cheap by any stretch of the imagination. The Xai technically features an ability to macro the buttons (which I don't use), and the keyboard has no such feature. This analogy doesn't quite work. With keyboards and mice, macro ability does not equate to expensiveness. I avoid razer products for this reason. I can't get around their advertisement since it's always based around macro crap.
