In WoL, every mineral only unit is somewhat viable in all compositions at all times: you can always make marines (obviously :D), you can always make zealots (lategame in PvT, those 20 zealot warpins are powerful, and you can warp prism drop with them in PvZ), and you can pretty much always refill your max in zerglings after you break the enemy lines with your hive tech army or whatever. In HotS, it takes a couple of hellbats (almost litterally 2 of them :D) to kill an ungodly amount of speedlings, whatever the upgrades. | ||

We all know the basic process of creating hellbat was " let's give terran a meatshield with mech by making hellion into big stompy robot that kill zealots and lings without the kitting micro requiered " There's no " hellbat have 2 less range than roaches so we have to give them splash" That's not how Blizzard do things lol. | ||

I absolutely agree with this. Had the Hellbat existed at the beginning of WoL design, I could agree with qxc, but with everything added, it's an "equality" mess right now. For example, all races have 2 detectors in WoL etc. | ||
