As for JP mentioning that it is strange that LoL uses skins in tournaments, in that case you know in advance which skin they are using and there are only a few champions so it is easy to identify. In SC2 you might get thrown off with identifying a unit when your opponent tech switches. I feel there can be mild skins though, like giving zealots different colored blades, giving marines different guns, etc. They would still be easily identifiable if done right. They're discussing the levelling system that Blizzard are introducing, QXC suggested applying it to custom games, so it would count in both training on tournament maps, and so casuals aren't forced to ladder, but still encouraged to play SC2. One problem with doing that would be people farming custom maps to level up. | ||
