But we have something else to do! We watch JP play Resident Evil. I barely remember SotG, but I'm sure it was never as good as this.

JP missing out on a gold mine of show content. There's never a greater amount of change in the state of a game than when it's in beta... Is there an agreement right now with potential sponsors that no shows should be made until the deal is worked out? JP, even if you can only run the show once a month without ever knowing when the next episode might be then you should STILL do it. some SotG >>> no SotG.

Looks like a pretty new logo

SoTG is a 4 - 5 person show. Schedules need to sync up, contracts needs to be signed. Right now all the people have obligations outside SoTG. Its not like it was 1 or 2 years ago. People have stuff going on. Having a sponsor and contracts signed would bump up SoTG on the priority list, but now everyone has other obligations that deserved precedence then a 2 hour talk show.

Question: Is SoTG still on Itunes? I was subbed, and then sometime over the summer I stopped getting new podcasts?

There hasn't been a show since summer, just in case your wondering

2012/08/01 is actually not that long ago ^^ (the following was written back then)
We are doing away with the current assets as well and they are being built from the ground up. Might be keeping the intro/outro song, might not -- depends on if I can secure rights for it. The deal we spoke about during our PAX show is still a thing its just taking a very long time to get everything sorted and filed away- taken from http://sotg-sc2.blogspot.com/ .
PLUS!

Let us hope they hit before the Beta ends, and after all the general balancing has been done^^

This sounds like it could be a good thing, very interesting hosts(/guests? the post is kind of vague).

At this point all I really want is an explanation. How come there is no show? We really haven't heard anything close to the full story

JP has told everything that the community gets to know. There are contracts and a lot of parties that need to look at them. All of the parties that need to look at them are busy and it is taking longer than expected. JP specifically said, "There are parts of the business that the community does not get to know.” I have faith they are working on it as hard as they can, when they can.

There's obviously something going on. Remember a while ago when SotG was supposed to be sponsored by the Giant Bomb, I guess that fell through and there's some kind of contractual issues going on?
"Is there a reason why the guests couldn't be any of Artosis/Nony/Incontrol? Do they have contracts forbidding them from being in a Skype call with you?"
-They have no interest being on a Skype call with me, for now.
Don't know what to make out of that reply.

Somehow I doubt it's JPs doing that the show isn't happening anymore and we should probably stop blaming him for it.

I don't think many people want to blame him as figure out what's going on and if they should even wait around or hope for a show they've loved to come back, but when he's posting things like "They have no interest being on a Skype call with me, for now" in reference to mainstays on a show he ran for so long, what is that supposed to do other than pique our interest and raise more questions?
I LOVED looking forward to the Tuesday nights that SotG was on, it was awesome to have a show that I could rush home as quickly as possible to like when I was younger to catch that included a lot of people I really respect in SC2, definitely going to be missing it.

While I think that this is absolutely true, he still could tell us something more. Even something like "no show until next year (earliest possible, probably later)" would be nice, since I doubt we would get the full story (if there is one) anyway.

He has said that on his stream several times and on podcasts he has been on. No show until the at least end of the year. People just don't listen and claim he is not telling people what is going on.
