I contacted SirScoots to the affect I would not watch the latest EG mastercup because of the last SOTG antics. As you can imagine he was unrepentant advised I should just unfollow all EG, which is a shame as I quite like listening to the guy on Lo3 .
So I think the message is clear. If it didn't bother you carry on and enjoy the shows if it did best let EG know that you will not be supporting them at this time as its clear their management team see nothing wrong whatsoever with EGIdra or EGIncontrols actions of late.
SirScoots @ "Underreaction, you should unfollow all things EG, myself included if they upset you so much."

I'm mad at my tv because the reception went out... Think I should burn my house down?

No. I actually do not think it is that serious an issue. I am however disappointed in SirScoots. Thought a more mature person would have smelled the coffee...Clearly he is a bit of a Peter Pan. Maybe Monster gives him wings lol

I agree that it isn't a big deal... The level of inflation this thing has gotten is insanity; it feels as though the community is having a 5 year old's reaction to being told they have cooties. As for contacting the television manufacturer, doing so doesn't usually affect all television producers negatively I think, yet that seems to be the general argument against sponsor contact.

Personally I don't believe this is an issue worth contacting a sponsor about, I was just telling the guy if you contact the management of a team and they give you a shitty response like that, it is definitely a worthy incentive for contacting their sponsor. I don't advocate going straight to the sponsor.

It's still stupid to contact the sponsors especially over something as dumb as this. The only time I could ever say contact sponsors was if something bad actually happened. Some of the things that people contacted sponsors for was almost as stupid as even saying to do it because of the last state of the game.

How is that logic bad?

Demanding action because, at worst, two people acted like assholes is ignorance and arrogance actually. At best a professional athlete would be spoken to behind closed doors and made to understand they screwed up.
The ridiculous overreaction and hypersensitivity of this community doesn't apply to the rest of the world.

employee gave you a hard time, you ask for the manager. if manager gave you a hard time, you ask for their company representatives. If nothing work, don't support them.
I thought this was a fairly basic concept and that's what made services great for so many companies. Its better to let the higher up knows their bottom is screwing up than to ignore them completely.

Apparently in esports you have to have a grievance that the higher powers deem legitimate before you are allowed to follow the natural hierarchy.

Agreed. You gave Avilo his chance that he didn't deserve, and he repeatedly yelled over you and restated the exact same thing over and over again. If you only read the conversation instead of actually listening to it, please go listen to it. Nothing to do or see here anymore.
Would be awesome to see an Avilo vs. IdrA series in the NA WCS.. I wonder how that would go.

So if EG management talks to him in private about this as a result of them demanding action, its still ignorance/arrogance?
Don't know if I would use words like hypersensitivity when he is infamously known for having such a high-horse mentality.
Edit: Also, since when is being talked over a reason to rude 10-fold to someone else?
