It's really weird how many people are up in arms about Avilo being 'disrespected'. You people wanted him on the show, everyone who knows Avilo and Idra should have known how it would go down. People asked for this.
And how do you justify crying about Avilo being mistreated and yet come into this thread to shit on everyone on the cast? The disrespect shown towards JP, Idra and Incontrol by the 'fans' in this thread if far beyond cutting someone off on skype.

Cutting off avilo wasn't the most polite thing to do, no.
But this is a show where a bunch of friends get together and troll each other and others almost constantly....
People just need to stop treating this ENTERTAINMENT show like some voice of the people or that they are entitled to have it happen just the way they want it to ... Life doesn't work that way, sorry.

Thank you Geoff for responding, I've been reading the many pages of drama. There are so many people with convoluted interpretations of the social interactions that happened on the show. Many people gave judgment on the situation without even knowing the context of the situation which you have decided to grace us with (thanks).

I didn't know about the background between avilo and idra. I feel like a lot of people didn't. People were spamming it because Geoff then JP mentioned Avilo it a few times. It's not like if "CALL AVILO" is spammed 5000 times skype magically opens and calls the guy for us. It was a bad decision by the hosts, you can hardly blame the mindless chat for this (or anything really).

I just started to watch the penultimate episode and Geoff is just awesome with the Hummus thing when he made that "I feel like Hummus is what happens when something actually does go bad" comment and I was like "yeah yeah that's what I've been telling people!" that was awesome. If even the preshow can make me laugh it should be a sign of a good episode coming up...

The simple reality is maybe you, other pros, a few hundred other people see he has earned some sort of position in the community, but the majority of people know NOTHING about avilo except what is said on SOTG. The reality is he didn't act like how you guys continued saying he would, he simply made non-concise arguments and was flustered from the start as he clearly doesn't go around talking to thousands of people at once like you guys. Then you guys shit all over him. This is the majority of peoples first impression of avilo themselves. If you guys decide to invite him on, then acting like hes a POS doesn't help anyone as its mostly an inside joke that few people get, leading to the drama situation that is rightly deserved from you guys creating it yourselves.

Agreed on almost all fronts. I was really bummed out when I found out Avilo was brought on. The Qxc and Idra discussion was far more interesting and the whole Avilo thing overshadowed anything that was brought up. Qxc's feelings on the impossible to obtaine super army were very intresting and I wish more people were talking about it. The ideas like:
- terran really lost their ability to control the pace of the match,
- that Zergs were now all-in in response to the greedy opening,
- and using an economic 2 rax to pressure the 3rd before the 6 queens come out
But that is not what people are talking about and it is a bummer. It is clear that Qxc has a better grasp of the game and how to discuss it. It should have been left at that and we all could have enjoyed the show more.

To be clear, Avilo offered to come on last week and people got grumpy when JP declined to let him on. Avilo then proceeded to whine, call challenge Geoff to a match where they played their off race and call the hosts cowards for not letting him on. It is not really shocking how this went down and people are "outraged" would just find another reason if they didn't have this one.

There are no speedlings at the ramp because if you open with the six queens that qxc was talking about, you can't also have speedlings with that. If you see a lot of queens, it means there won't be speedlings behind them until later. Terrans don't know these things yet because they haven't figured out the timings yet. Qxc agreed with this because it's fucking true. IdrA and Qxc both agreed that it would just take more time for Terrans to figure things out. Again, you don't seem to understand the conversation, which is why you think this way. Qxc wasn't just blindly agreeing with IdrA. He was seriously considering what IdrA had to say. And it's really stupid to say something like "Idra countered it in a way that forced Qxc to agree with him." That's just a stupid thing to say and I don't have the patience to explain why.
