Well, maybe I worded my other post poorly, it wasn't *that* bm. He lost to some pretty unknown (as far as I know) player and waited until all his buildings were destroyed before he said gg (I wouldn't consider this bm). Then in second game he did the same, he had quite clearly lost but waited like 3 minutes then just left without a gg.
Please note that I am a big fan of Tyler's and I did not mean to point and say that he's just bm and bad or anything like that. I just would be interested in hearing about it from Tyler's point of view, which was why I said it in response to itmeJP's request for stuff to talk about in the show.
Anyways, I didn't mean to cause any type of upset or point any fingers (at all), I just came with a suggestion for something to talk about on the show.

Oh I did not know Nony did it in both games. Interesting. The player optikzero is fairly unknown righ tnow he hasn't been playing in any big tournaments but he is on the clan vVv but yeah other then this tourney hasn't played in any big ones.
I was really surprised he beat Nony let alone 2-0 
for state of the game JP bring a good terran player + Idra/Artosis IMO!

Maybe you have a short memory or something. Idra definitely talks about how Nony used to be considered just as bm as himself in a previous state of the game, so I'm not sure why you would be surprised if it occurred. I didn't watch the games mentioned in this cast, but I don't think bm is a big deal either.

So a top player that plays this game as a job loses to a relative unknown in the semis of a tournament and became upset.
I don't get it, what was the problem? In the GSL, when FruitDealer lost, he pretty much took his hands from the keyboard and had them on his head in disbelief. The same thing happened, its not BM.

Just took a quick look at the replays.
I don't get what you guys are saying, with the bm. With the way you guys were describing it, I thought Tyler would have had a good one liner like Idra's "self respect" line. I mean, its unconventional to wait until all the buildings are gone, but in my mind I saw Tyler as having a little fun with Optikzero with his stalkers. I mean technically, tyler still had minerals for another pylon. If he was really being bm, he would have stuck a pylon in a corner of the map.
These tournaments are really long, with the semi finals being round 8. Tyler probably knew this was his last match of the day, so just stuck it out a bit more.

I'd really like a segment where the pillars and guest talk about different trends they're running into, and just about the games they've been playing recently in general.
Any shifts in strategy, or just interesting strategies that they've run into in ladder. Maybe even a weekly look into where they think trends are headed. We usually get most of these things out of the show just with the regular conversations, but something more organized and directed would be kind of cool.
Maybe, if there's time, have different players play each other in a bo3 at some point in the week, and talk about that. Obviously you couldn't do it all the time, but once in a while the pillars talking smack on each other could be fun.
I think that with MLG over we have time to discuss more non-tournament starcraft stuff. As much as I love tournament banter, strategy banter is always more appealing to me.

Next episode you guys should consider discussing the current state of TvZ, because a lot of people are becoming to think that the match up is an up hill battle for Terran. I don't think it's that Zerg is IMBA, but Terran is weak late game in general ( in all match ups ). Weather this is true or not, it would be cool to discuss it.

This was a pretty huge ragequit by Nony and incredibly disrespectful to his opponent.
Not that I care I think it's hilarious. I've always like IdrA and Nony for this very reason.
But let's not pretend he was leaving unconventionally or some bullshit.
He lost the game, got very annoyed at losing to a lesser opponent and left disrespectfully.

I really want to hear the opinions of some pros on EMP in TvP. As a Terran player I do not fear anything a Protoss can do until they reach colossi, because of the sheer effectiveness of EMP against nearly every Protoss unit. I don't even need to push most of the time, I can just do a 3 rax into ghosts and expand build every time then start getting vikings, safe in the knowledge that I will almost certainly be able to defend any push, and that he has to get colossi because I already have the hard counter to HT's.
I don't see a way to rationalise a T2 spell that does 100 instant shield damage AoE, but I cannot ever remember a pro even mentioning it. Am I missing some drawback? Is there an efficient way to deal with it at a high level? Do my opponents just suck?

He was just frustrated. Was it BM? sure it was. But I don't think its the end of the world or anything. I'm sure he was expecting to win but things just didn't go his way and he just raged out a bit. Stuff happens, just watch some other sports on espn to see it in real life.
There's no point throwing something this minor in a player's face, tho JP does seem to have a knack for doing just that  It's a spot on Nony's record, but a small one.

The thing is that having more ghosts = having less medivacs and vikings. When they have collossi out, the only thing that matters is surviving the collossus. Is not like it's bad, it's not, but if feels weird to get then

you guys need to NOT forget socke... He's a very fun player to watch and has some serious late game skills... Great multitask player. Dows a lot of things with warp prism and stuff. You know it's just another style of play. Not every game ends with some timing pushes.
I like his style a lot. Wish he'd get farther at mlg though
