Jp, you are awesome, your show is awesome, i have listened/watched every single episodes of StoG, some more than once. I would gladly pay for the show and i will pay for the show when the opportunity to do so will come.
Jp put up something up so we could get information on a topic that ALLOT of people cared and wanted to know more about. And the did it fast so we could get new fresh info about the Mlg Kespa deal. You people are bitching about the name, about the sound quality about just everything else that dont fuckin matter if your not a child. Yeah JP didnt badger his boss about thing his boss could/would not talk about. If you are a child you might not know that is something that is quite stupid to do. Bitting the hand that feed you must be done sometime, but doign it on a puplic platform is about has smart has drinking a can of paint because your out of beer.
I have watched just about every other sc2 show there is. SotG was my favorite, still is my Favorite. If you dont like it, if something about it rub you the wrong way nobody is forcing you to do anything. Things change, things evolve, Stop living in the past, stop whinning because everything dosent fit what YOU want. The show is not made for YOU, its made for the community and someone else too. You know for who? for people who enjoy working on the show , that would be JP the pillars and maybe other person i am not aware off. If YOU want the show to be run a certain way, i suggest you send jp serious contract offer about doing a a SotG in a certain way.
You can make suggestion of course, make them clear, to the point, and not negative. "I would be nice if you could talk about this smaller event, i feel its really cool because of this and this." is way better than "Wtf stop yapping about mlg already there are other things going on'". The first comment might actually inform him of something he was not aware of, it also point out to him that if somone care, they might be more and that it could be something interessting to talk about. The second one actualy give 0 information, it is discarded and thrown in the toll can with other stupid comment pilling up in this thread.

The show was literally planned 15 minutes prior to going on air and I'm in NYC with zero SotG assets except for the vid intro and intro/outro music -- no art. Production was terrible but the content was there and I would of rather have the exclusivity (LOL) / timeliness of the topic rather then waiting a week to discuss it.
The idiocy and pure bullshit this community feeds its personalities makes people want to quit on a daily basis. If I didn't have friends on the show that made me enjoy it and was just doing this myself, I would of quit long, long ago. Lay off the fucking kool-aid and think for yourself rather then joining the mob, getting pitchforks, and making people / tournaments / organizations drop all interactivity on social media.
User was warned for this post (unnecessary flaming) I'm sorry TL but this was very necessary flaming. What JP said and this ^^ sums it up pretty well. I've often seen people complaining in chats over free content that other people pour long hours into creating and providing. People need to grow up and realize they are being immature little kids and maybe for once in their life be grateful.
we've been over this 100 times, wanting something you like to be better isnt childish or entitled or anything, and labeling everyone with a criticism as such just makes people look as childish as they claim others to be.

People should learn to differentiate between 'trolls', and those who just hold a different opinion. It seems every person that's insulted the show, its hosts or its guests, is branded a troll. TL turns everything into a drama.

You can provide constructive criticism, or you can be a jerk. Most people choose to be a jerk.

Keep up the good work JP!

For what it's worth, I thoroughly enjoyed the last episode. JP you're great. Everybody that volunteers their time for the community is great. Everybody that has the willpower and desire to do what you do is great. Don't let the naysayers get to you. <3

Sorry for all the drama. Over reacted to a specific PM I got and lashed out at the community at large because of it, when I should of just kept myself to it. Thanks to all who have reached out to me, both with kind words and trash

JP! Amazing show, thanks! Keep it up

Never listen to the haters JP! You're on of the important pillars in SC2 ! Thank you for your hard work and keep it up, im sure there are a lot of people who loves you and gonna keep supporting! (Like me LOL :D ) GOGO JP!

Had to cease my lurking for this one. JP, we love you, your myriad contributions to the scene and SOTG. ( I liked SC Center with you and Chobo as well) I hope these haters won't discourage you from continuing the show. SOTG is one of my weekly highlights and my favorite Podcast.
Despite all the haters, trolls and reddit circle-jerking, you have a TON of community members who appreciate your contributions and hard work. Hopefully the silent majority that loves the show will make their support more apparent in the future to offset all the trolls who aren't grateful for the effort and sacrifices you make to give us the show.

That's more like it! Cheers
Keep on truckin' man.

User was warned for this post (unnecessary flaming) hm i dont understand how you can write such a post as an employee of MLG. I mean MLG wants to sell a product to the audience you are insulting here and in addition you are telling them to either stop complaining about things they dont like about the product or to go away. It doesnt matter if the community is right with what they are complaining about or not, you just have to deliver, thats what people in all kind of media have to deal with. Either you can deal with that or you are the wrong guy to be in front of a camera.

Whether or not someone's delivery makes them an asshat has just as much to do with the person receiving it as what they say and how they deliver it. Frankly I don't think I can receive criticism and think someone's an asshat for really anything they say unless they're just attacking me very directly as a person. A lot of other people find any critique to be a personal attack.
No one differentiates on either side, so really you're both correct.
The mob mentality is just funny it's so pathetic at this point. People swarmed into gang up on him, but then we he posted people swarmed equally to defend him. It's like a reddit thread. If it's one bashing MLG you can guess who will safely get their opinion out in that thread. If it's one defending destiny you know you're not actually going to get anywhere going in and explaining why you think he's an idiot. It's just sad that that's the best we can do. It's no wonder that tournaments and individuals don't listen to feedback. All if it is a massive clusterfuck to begin with, aside from the fact that everything is basically impossible to sort through and give value to.

He writes posts like this because of posts like yours, You've completely misunderstood the context of his post to begin with and now your whining and bashing. Do us all a favor and stop posting, if we didn't have people like you on this forum there would be nothing to get angry about to begin with.

Got to agree... the Bandwagon hating alone is getting out of hand and its one of the biggest reasons why Starcraft 2 isnt getting sponsorships from what ill call "real life" sponsors. (Products that have little or nothing to do with eSports, clothing brands, food, ect.) Community needs to grow up.

All of this "community" reminds me of old time religious folk who usto hunt witches (women) for fun and do whatever the ring leader (insert idiot who msgs sponsors) told them too...
Time to stop being mindless and do as JP said, stay off the fucking kool-aid.

Hahahaha, why don't you message MLG's sponsors and bring MLG down, and then when you're at it... Well Gretorp said bitch once, so message his sponsors and kill NASL, and when you're all finished you can come on TL with no esports left and say how proud you are that you're part of the "audience" that he was insulting and YOU SURE SHOWED HIM...
