In terms of people complaining about only InControl being on...come on. Not every episode features every cast member, and this was a "special" edition of the podcast. Let's face it, SOTG has basically been State of MLG for months, that's nothing new. I'm neutral on JP. Seems like a nice dude but I gotta ask: why do you give a shit what 90% of the community thinks? Like any online community, SC2's is full of idiots. I see no point in getting upset over their ridiculous complaints. You are the show manager, people like your show. If they didn't like this one episode, who gives a shit - it was a specicial, different occasation. | ||

Take for example someone posting an art piece. Of course there'll be critics alongside the admirers, but you also tend to have people that hate every fiber of your being either for no reason, or for simple reasons like you missed a spot while shading, or some colors around the edges overlap, or the nose doesn't look right, or even more trivial stuff like because you misspelled something or because you're a Taurus or a Snake and such. There's just a lot of really unreasonable people on the internet, and even the most thick-skinned people have a limit when it comes to handling all the abuse that they hurl. | ||

People across the board need to stop judging, and start supporting. I'm not saying always be butterflies and rainbows - some of the best things that have been said to me in my life have been pieces of constructive criticism. I just think that some of the more socially inept comments could definitely benefit from some tact. JP has given years of his life to us, no matter what he puts out - I respect the work he does. | ||

The damn episode wasn't even listed as one, just a special, JP was saying how he didn't have the time to do one this week, comes up with a last minute half hour special anyway dealing with a pretty important anouncement for our scene and you people actually have the gal to complain about it not being like a normal episode enough? Well no shit, they had 2 of the SotG guys there, no proper setup and everyone had more important things to do for the time they would normally use planning the show. And about the Sundance interview, stop venting your rage you have for that man on JP, why the hell do you think Incontrol did the interview? JP works for the man, he can't ask him awkward questions because he's his freaking boss, do you honestly want him to have pushed on all the questions Incontrol asked that where not answered properly and endanger his own godamn job? If you go back in the SotG archive they actually have an episode where they directly state that they all have their obligations, Incontrol can't make any controversial statements about EG, Tyler can't about Liquid and Artosis can't about GSL, this is all perfectly sensible because these people have CONTRACTS they have to adhere to, why is JP being connected to MLG so hard to understand? JP, keep doing a great job, if it wasn't MLG it was about they would not have had this idiotic backlash, sadly enough Sundance with some rather poor handling of the situation turned himself into the representative for PPV, which I would call the most controversial subject since the start of SC2, sadly enough this won't be the last time something like this is likely to happen, I hope you learn to deal with it with less emotion in the future, hard as that might be. | ||

Sure that is how opinion polls work. You ask everyone of a certain group and than you know the general opinion. If you dont ask everyone those polls are worthless right? Jesus people. Everyone has a bad day. JP overreacted to a jerk`s pm by beeing a jerk in generelizing his whole fanbase. He admitted that. Lets take this part out of the equation now. People still harping on about this should be charged with spending 2 day without the internet for a sense of reality. The rest of the people that tried to have a discussion about the content of SOTG or its quality can continue without beeing butthurt by JP`s post and the fanboys can crawl back under their white horse and stop preaching about the awesomeness of everything that is STOG even its excrements, maybe we can get a real discussion going here. | ||
